rusty whats the camera man doing on the last photo
I think John's nerves were shot to pieces after being thrown round the track by Gordon Sheddon (Pro driver working @ Knockhill) in the aforementioned STi 8

That will teach you to tell Gordon that he's a slow driver John!!!

What a fantastic day

Thanks go to Ian Armstrong from Stan Palmers for letting me come to the Prodrive demo day at Knockhill
(my first trip onto a track but i will return)

Thanks also goes to Rusty for washing the Breakfast dishes !!!!!
at 540AM !!!

from the Lady of the House

you are wellcome to sample the full harding hospitality (videos/mags) again but next time fetch Mrs Rusty as you said she likes gardening and can do it when we empty the Wine cellar

Biggest thanks of the day of course go to John for letting me stay over last night to save me having to drive to Carlisle at stupid o'clock and for givng me a lift from Carlisle to Knockhil

The Foresters on the off-road course:

John driving the Forrester:

Second place winner in the biggest grin wearer of the day (naturally, I won that too ) :

And a more than well deserved free plug for Ian Armstrong of Stan Palmer & Sons (Carlisle):

Cheers, Jon

Did you get the brakes smoking? When I went on the STi7 day, we did 4 laps and had smoke billowing from the front Brembos! Certain Subaru people were looking a little ruffled!

Stephen, you don't have to have bought a car from Palmer's. I haven't. You have to pay for it.

Not sure how much people paid, these were last minute places because "business" people had pulled out.

Ian 'phoned around to try and fill places at a few minutes notice.. I couldn't go because if I took a days leave (at short notice) in my job for this sort of thing I'd be in line for a serious bollocking.....
