Look what this idiot has wasted his money on....

A m8 of mine makes bodykits..
we try and make the quality more subtle looking ones..kits that are too over the top or in your face generally just look ****e..they have to look like they were there from the beginning.
we find we supply 2 differing types of kits... one type is for cars we can only describe as "Max Power Motors" ..i'e. kitted up corsas and pugs and the like..you all know what i am refering too...
then there are the proper cars...skylines..imprezas...mitsubishi evo's and gto's..anything porsche..oh and lotus carltons...
however much alot of us may not like this car ( i sure as hell dont cos it will never have the panaches or the pedigree of a true performance car whatever you put under the bonnet) you cant tell people what they should and shouldnt do..i agree with some of the previous posters...its his money if he wants to spend it like that good look to him..as long as he gives it a bloody good go and tries his best then he is deserving of our respect..in the end we are all car enthusiasts together arent we???
just as a perspective thing we charge 9 grand to convert a standard carlton gsi into a lotus replica. thats all kit paint etc...so the sort of money for that car isnt unreasonable..though nobody in their right mind would pay 10k to buy it.
personally i would junk the cav turbo lump..they are rubbish and tend to die..lol... call me insane but i wanna put v8's in everything... i know a bloke who will put a v8 in any car on the road if you give him a chance...and just as an example a rover v8 is bloody light due to the all alloy construction.
if i was to put a chevy short block 5.7 v8 vette engine in my 3 litre carlton the front end would actually be lighter!!!!!
bring on that window shaking v8 burble
p.s. 10 k buys you a very very nice late plate BMW 3.8 M5 ..the 6 speed version with the nurburghring suspension pack

Just thought I would add my tuppence worth...
I know K through a friend and one of the reasons that car was built was to promote his business 'Type K Styling'. Some of you may think it was a waste of time etc etc but he is 22 years old and now drives round in an E46 M3.
Looks to me like building that Nova was the best thing he ever did...

Nothing wrong with that Nova. Has to be one of the nicest examples about. Just don't get why people are knocking it.
It's not everyones cup of tea, but at least the lad has tried very hard to make it individual to him, and I think he deserves some credit. And anyway, how many of you whingers have had your car in a magazine feature? Exactly!
