Look what this idiot has wasted his money on....

i quite like it and if i had the money i'd buy it if it was a bit more affordable.
for people that slag it off because it is "modded" i think ur being a bit oxymoron as i see loads of "modded" subaru's on this form and dont give me the BULLSH1T about OOO these are performance mods! i dont exactly see how putting a sti8 look alike carbon fibre scoop on a classic is exactly gonna Change the performance and i see alot of keen interest in the wide bodied Scooby's so i wouldnt go slaggin this guy off at all. infact most scooby drivers are just the same except u'r cars are most expensive and more powerful!
i have finished my rant, it just sometimes gets to me when u read some stuff on here.

each to their own, it looks like a proffesional job, unlike a lot of death trap nova's you see on the roads. And the escos imperial blue is the best looking ford colour by far.
yikes, no mention of cav turbo brakes to go with the blown lump upgrade.
10k well you could get a nice lightly modded scoob for that sort of cash, and the scoop actually does something. So who would pay that sort of cash for a phase 1 (86-90 ??) Nova FFS.
I would give him £500 so i could then hire a monster truck and crush it

madjay, you sound like the exact person i'd expect to buy a glossed up shopping trolley.....
you forget that some cars are performance cars - right from the start, whereas, some will NEVER be!!!!
start by asking your mum if you can paint her car, drive it about a bit, if you like it, and all the 14 yr old girls swooning at your colour coded bumpers, make this guy an offer for his Nova.
After all, you ARE the man..

I started off thinking "fair play the guy has put the effort in and it's turned out quite nice... for a nova
then I read this.
Full lock was pretty poor and the car wouldnt drive well with passengers in it. However, this gave a good indication of how amazing the car was going to look.
what an IDIOT !!

I really can't understand why you should criticise the bloke. He is entitled to spend his cash how he likes. I think he has done an outstanding job on the car. Not my personal choice but that doesn't matter at all. The engineering work is impressive and I bet the performance matches it.
As someone said-with that "talent" sitting in the car he is doing all right

or you could build a scooby killing nova for less than 9k...
and its cheap to run and modify, and not have to worry about being carjacked or having your house broken into.
or have the reputation that scoobys have now
plus its not the same as all the other cars on the road and you have built it how you want it. maybe some people should respect what others want to do to their cars.

Well Ive seen it in the past and those pictures just dont do it justice, it really is a heap when you get close to it. Panels dont meet evenly and the paint is more cellulity than a fat birds ****
As said above, it was broken up, as no one is going to spend 10 large on a d reg nova regardless of the bodykit!

i hate nova's, far too many rusty yellow 1.2sr's with 4" peco tailpipes but you have to stand back and admire the work that the guy has put in. he seems to have done a lot of work himself and as a "show car" i think it's a pretty good effort.

you practically do nowadays if you drive a scoob
Argue the toss if you like- go to the local kev boy hangout and see for yourself.
muppets are abandoning suxos/novas and going scally scoob......early ones/uk 4 doors affordable now....coming to a drive thru near you soon.....sideways
Flame suit firmly on. ::

I quite like it and as you know I am the doyenne of good taste around here, so there.
Not what I would buy but to be honest my desire for a Scoob has waned of late, its funny all the Scoob owners saying what a tasteless piece of poo that Nova is but have a word with most of the population and they cant tell the difference between that and a Scoob, shiny blue car with gold wheels and a noisy exhaust, sound familiar ? I know about all the rally pedigree and I love Scoobs but to be honest most non car people class it as a ********* car having canvassed a few, non car people like nice sensible VW Golf Diesels and stylish TT's (ahem)
