Raptor, speak to BR Developments.
I understand there was no warranty if it was damaged due to bad installation. But sounds like you could have a faulty unit.
Im not 100% sure on this so email Br Developments

How can anyone tell if it's damaged due to a bad installation
There's a few possible problems Raptor:-
1. the sensor is dead. You can get this from any Bosch dealer (not sure if your average gas station next to the Autobahn would sell thes). Part# is 0-261-231-006.
2. the knocklink is dead.
3. the 12v ignition supply has failed. Simple meter the red/black wires you ran to the knocklink connector and check you are getting power when the ignition is switched on.
4. there is another electrical fault between the knocklink and the sensor. A continuity check between the knocklink connector and the sendor connector would be a simple check that there's no breaks in the cable.
If the sensor is faulty, any Bosch dealer should honour the manufacturers warranty. If it's the Knocklink display, then the warranty is honoured by the supplier or directly with Link Systems in Oz.
