So upset I might sell the scoob

right, just out of interest... where's everyone mounting their new knocklink ??
The usual place in MY00 is the little tray infront of the ashtray, but you can't really see it from there when driving (or is the BIG light really bright?) and that's where I keep my ****!
someone suggested taking the right hand side vent out and putting it there. I reckon it would look well smart, but then I'd lose a vent!
Any other ideas?

Quick answer on this one please, when you have removed the foresaid bolt and got a longer one.
The bracket near the no.s which the original bolt held down - do you put the sensor on top of the bracket or kinda move the bracket out the way so sensor is DIRECTLY on block
many thanks
ps waiting with greasy hands and spanner

Put mine ON TOP of the bracket - was a flush fit. I had seen two differing photos but the one where it had been fitted on top of the bracket, the guy was checking he'd positioned it correctly - and there was a comment on that thread from Bob Rawle saying 'Spot on'.

Yep, I did the same. Saw one on top of the bracket and one with the bracket on top. Both had positive feedback from Bob Rawle.
If the sensors tight enough I can't see why the bracket would interfere with the resonance from the block - afterall it's all metal to metal contact.

DAMN... Fitted my knocklink and it worked fine.... for three days
When I start the engine I no longer get the lights to lit up.
Tapping on the bolt which is holding the sensor and still no lights.
Suppose my sensor is dead.
What about warrenty on these babyes???
The tricky part is that I´m of for my holiday tomorrow :/
Do they sell sensors at gasstations in Germany?
