A few tooled up blokes happen to be sitting in a tranny van close to this car and happen to have some large, heavy implements sitting beside them.
Dodgy bloke approach car and starts to break in (let him get the door open or break glass.
Tranny van doors open and aforementioned blokes jump out and apprehend said dodgy.
All then retire to the can for some friendly questioning.

Dodgy bloke then leaves van with a coupel of bruises !

I've not been party to this before (honest !) but I remember a Performance Bikes article a few years ago and had to smile whilst reading of the bloke getting smacked around in the back of a van !

I also recall a speaking to some one who told of couple of guys attempting to steal his car.
One gets caught whilst his mate runs off. The poor sod who was apprehended was questioned as to the name of his accomplice along the lines of "Tell us his name and we'll let you go". He then divulges the name so they duly let him go ... but only after whacking his legs with a bit of 4x2 with some large nails embedded in it !
Had to laugh !
