1-4 for a copy, roger-d, 10-10, wots ya handle, blahdy blah.
hahah i was about the same age, LOL, remember hotwiring it to my dad's old cortina, flatening his battery and scratching his boot with the mag mount.(he done his t1ts)
also remember making a ground base out of tin foil, to get a few more clicks on the SWR meter.
basically now, i think its all bolloxs.
but each to their own...
