Karting at Three Sisters Wigan

Everybody has a chance, just do a Schuey and T bone them when they try to lap you.
I think we have 14 drivers now so if anybody else fancies a go then get posting.
I would also suggest turning up tonight as somebody is bound to drop out at the last minute.
I'm racing in my socks and G string only, to try and save weight and gain some valuable seconds.

First: Thanks to Zippy for setting this up a really good night.
Fortunately I don't need a trophy to enjoy myself
Second: Special thanks to the "gentlemen" who generously donated additionl bruising by pushing me onto the rumble strips, and in particular the one who decided to conserve energy by using my kart as a brake instead of depressing the pedal.
Off now to ram raid a tropy shop to so I can impress the wife.

Have to say that it was another good evening out, especially running people off into the rumble strips
Thanks to Zippy for organising it all out and the reversed grid order definitely made the first corner interesting!!!!

Thanks to Zippy for organising it !
Fantastic fun, i've just realised how bruised i am after that
Good idea , reversing the grid, provided some more competition ,
Rik - I managed to snap the axle on my kart about half way through the race, and Mr Forbes managed to get past me when i spun off. To say i was gutted was an understantement .. and then i had to cope with the boasting in the pub later
Also managed to bend the chassis on the second kart when some kind gentleman t boned me , and i've got the bruises (and blood) to prove it
There was some fantastic racing .... when are we doing it all again ??
Here's the times for those that are interested ..
Note the fastest lap - Kart 15
Can we put more names to numbers, it was impossible to work out who was who in the race.

Top Night 8) Started last, finished 4th, can't really complain at that. The first couple of laps were carnage, 3 abreast into every corner Cheers to Zippy for organising, just need a month or 2 to recover now...

Reversing the grid order was great, unless of course you were fastest in qualifying Shame my kart broke, next time etc, etc...
Kes - Kart No.8
PS No.12 was Chad, the guy who came with me.

Thanks lads it was a great night, but Nik O neads to learn driving manners as he (IMHO)deliberately 'T' boned me off at turn 2 but hey thats racing, my coming together with the tyre wall on turn 4 is starting to ache.
Then end of next month should be a good time for the next one.
Did anybody else feel like they were driving with air suspension when they got back in their cars, mine felt fantastic, what with comfy seats and power steering.

Well I'll own up to being No5 up before the process of elimination identifies me
No one told me about the reversed grid positions and with all this talk of pro drivers I lined up on the grid and thought **** me it's a bunch of F1 hopefuls!
At the end of the back straight and I realised my mistake!
Potential TOCA drivers I decided as I dug myself out of the gravel
3 & 4 were I think Clive and his brother Danny.
Can we have a pensioners outing next? It's OK being the oldest but when one of the opposition needs a booster cushion it gets a bit embarrasing
