Somehow my brother got hold of the keys to the MY00 MX5 limited edition that I keep in Tenerife, for holiday use, while I was in the UK.

He claims that someone hit it while he was in a pub.

Anyway, the car was hit in Novemeber, it should be repaired next week. I told them to write it off, but they decided to repair it. They thought it was only 43 euros short of being written off. They hadn't realised it was one of only 205 made so parts cost a lot more...

They now have a bill for:
1 windscreen.
1 (special edition) alloy.
1 (special edition) bumper.
2 head lights.
1 bonnet.
1 wing.
1 air con unit.
1 radiator.
1 complete front suspension.
1 internal mirror (don't know how that broke).
2 airbags.
1 (special edition) dashboard.
1 new roof.
Storage since November - March (over 2000 euros).
Labour March - May.
Respray.
