...that way, although we're not specifically meeting up with people we should arrive about the same time? or we can aim to meet the Essex lot at "little chef/burger king on the A350 Just before Allington This is just of J17 (M4) then pick up A420, B4039 to CCombe" at 8.45 - does anyone know where this is? Yup - it's in the SIDC area - we've got to give them a call as we're approaching and they'll direct us, I think they'll be wearing red and yellow t-shirts or something, I'll let you know later!

Hiya Mark - Looks like there'll be you, me, Colin, Andy (catching up!) and meeting Chris on the way...re: meeting the Essex lot, we'll have to go past our Castle Coombe exit to meet them and no-one seems to know where the Burger King is...so the suggestion is just to head up there for 9 and hopefully meet up at the entrance with them all... I donno, anything else seems to result in alot more driving for us!

 

Hi there, Saw that you Hant people were planning on meeting at McD's at Melksham. Us Melksham / Trowbridge owners could meet you there if you dont mind. What sort of time are you planning on leaving Melksham. There is a big pre meet at the Crosshands... which looks worthwhile.

 

Nigel, Chris_D said he's leaving his house at 8am and having brekkie at McDs in Melksham so it might be worth talking to him about what time he'll be there. We won't be going up to Crosshands as it's further than Castle Combe and Colin needs to be there for about 9am but you'll probably have time to meet up with them if you follow us to CC?

I expect to be at Maccydeees (the one on the road past melksham) for 8.30-ish, then tag on to the hants lot as they pass by

That's a very nice thing to say about my baby (and spookily enough I don't mean Mark) but as I didn't get my act together and book tickets for JapFest if I brought him along he would have to be parked in the general car park and that just wouldn't do - he gets very upset if he can't be with the other Hants Scoobs !!!
Soooo, hopefully I'm hitching a lift in a VERY nice silver scoob

I did wonder where you lot got to once we hit the A31 - I did pass a couple of slow sccobs though as the 31 joins the M27 - a very quiet dark blue one and a nice silver one......I don't think they we're trying very hard though

Dont worry Rachel, on Castle Combe rally day I called them up about 2 days b4 hand and got them to put me an SIDC members car pass on the gate for me........no problem.
