OK, I was going to e-mail but I had might as well post it here, unfortunatley I'm going to have to pull out, something has come up which I can't get out of

we could run a shootout for the top 8 cars on time. this depends upon enough of you confirming you are coming. current situation is only 27 people have replied to peccy and confirmed what they want.
its unlikely that enough people are serious enough to pay up for a 3 event day, despite peccys best efforts. unless more of you get in touch asap we will go back to original plan of timed head to head 1/4s and a top speed only event at £30.
this could still have a top 8 final if you wish on 1/4m.
if only 27 people have confirmed then unfortunately not enough to book the event, we can either run it as 200plus club vs scoobs, which i am happy to do and bring down our club members, or look for more scoobs to confirm.
please get in touch with peccy asap to confirm if you havent done so already

Due to lack of interest the HANDLING event as been dropped from the format
. the day will now consist of Standing 1/4mile and Top Speed only as originally planned.£30 each.
Sunday 28th September.

Now the handling circuit is not running, are crash helmets still mandatory??
Seems a bit of a silly question really as flying down the runway at 160mph ought to warrant a helmet, but I seem to recall that it was the handling circuit that only needed the helmet as a pre-requisite

helmets reqd please. they have let peeps run in the past on the 1/4m only without helmets, but to be honest they are stopping it as its a risk. think that most of you are hitting 95+mph on the 1/4m, and what would happen if a blow out occured etc?
much safer to take one if you can please. they sometimes have the odd spare (manky) helmet available for loan but you will be lucky!
i've got a few quick 200+ cars coming along if thats ok?
