Pepper, did you not understand this:
?
Just dont reply to every single post that Mycroft is full of shït, a tw@t, a lyer or whatever. I am telling you: we really got your point, everybody on SN knows what you think of him, really, everybody does. There is no point in repeating it over and over again. You've said it for a month now! I'm sure there's better thing you can do than saying the same stuff over and over again on SN when you dont even have a scooby and no one knows who you are. See what I mean?

Guys - no offence, this is all very amusing but its not designed to be a bitching thread, and go wildly off topic like it is!! - if there is an issue between you lot, start a different thread
As I said, life would be very boring if we all agreed, I've driven the cars I was interested in, made my choice that I myself am happy with, and just putting my thoughts as to why across......

Neil - Great news about the Supra, interested to read your comments on the two motas and how you came to your decision, will still wanna go in it mind!
Shame this seems to be getting hi-jacked by people with little interest in the subject matter, just want a row, oh how familiar these days!
All the best
Paul

Good thing?
Of course!... I wouldn't own any car designed in Japan... you must be fvcking joking!!!, they can't design cars for toffee, the R33 Skyline is the only decent Japanese designed vehicle ever...
The rest are dreadful carbunculate things... they are fantastic functionaries... crap car designers... that is why the AMOC/FOC/POC clubs look down on them they are Jap-crap...
That is why I and all the Soarer owners look down on you peasants... had you not worked that out yet!?!

We don't attend meets because we don't want to be associated with such shockingly ugly cars... the MKIV Supra often looks like a 1960's vision of 'THE VACUUM CLEANER OF THE 21ST CENTURY' the EVO looks like entire office of designers passed around a sketch of the next car each adding a little bit more 'ugliness'
and what kind of sick mind designed the goddammed bug-eyed Subaru... even worse why wasn't it strangled at birth...
Jap designs suck... big time.

Mycroft, please do not start on the slagging match, or your posts will be deleted to keep this thread on track.
The thread was Skyline - vs - Supra. I'm sure no one really cares how much better "your" Soarer is.

And that's a good thing is it?

The question mark [?] gives it away, questions have to be answered.
Anything else would not be polite... and I'm always polite.

I think it was a rhetorical question.
In any event, you didn't answer it - that would have involved explaining the virtues of american design, rather you slagged off japanese design instead.
Very poor mate, very poor.

I didn't think that! In the written word rhetorical questions tend to be written in Italics as in Who Knows? a bookish tradition dating back to the 19thC.

Yes, I concentrated on the 'Rice' element and I included the thinking behind a lot of peoples attitude to Japanese cars... again keeping to the Japanese/Rice motif and context.

I think you may mean that you dislike my forthright assertions and would prefer them not to be voiced... well, that is the modern 'PC' way... but it is not mine... but I will start a nice thread on why the Japanese can't design cars and why the Italians can, the Guy who designed my car was Pininfarina trained.
He has written extensively on this subject and his thoughts are very interesting... if a little uncomfortable.

"Ban him, ban him!"
If everyone just ignored Mycroft I'm sure he'd get bored soon enough. Jesus, I sound like my girlfriend when she's at work (she's a primary school teacher before you ask).
...Who was the enzo designed by?
Anyway, back on track. I've been following this thread with interest - love the new car ScoobyJawa. I would've gone for the skyline but big up yourself for doing what YOU want and not being put off by everyone else.
So are you gonna mod it? Maybe get the hair dryer out and remove those "supra" stickers on the side? Possibly some new 19" split rims (aka the fast and the furious?)

Hugebeef... Ox?... anyways... you have made a good point!
When the Americans mix their 'yankee beef' with 'rice' you get Fast & Furious... not the discrete style of my own car, fantastically well observed matey, my compliments... I'd never 'seen' that before but it is spot on...

hugebeef - cheers It was a very hard decision I'll tell you! but, drove both and went with the one I liked so can't say fairer than that! If you ask those on here that know me about mods, then yeah - I think its safe to say it will be modded! The wheels will stay for now, no cash after purchase but they do look a little small Probably won't do too much engine wise - its already got a zorst fitted, not sure what type until it arrives, has the bumper not sure who buy though some think Top Secret and skirts(Toyota dealer option). If its not done I'll probably decat and add induction and maybe up the boost a little - but not too much I'd settle for 350-400bhp!!! Not forgetting the Racelogic As for the stickers - think that will be one of the first mods
Paul - its due in about 3-4 weeks, so end of this month early next, not sure if that means to the dealer, or just the port, I'll check with them...... If its just the port then it will be another week or two I'd imagine while the paperwork is sorted and SVA'd etc.

That is why I and all the Soarer owners look down on you peasants... had you not worked that out yet!?!
So you look down on me because of the car you own? riiiight Incidentally I look down on you because of your apparent 1 dimensional 'intellect'
Anything else would not be polite... and I'm always polite.
There we go, 2 quotes from you in as many posts that are totally contradictory.

Makes me laugh how Mycroft keeps telling everyone to keep it on topic when clearly he is the one "muddying the waters" with his usual BS! It just doesn't make sense - first of all, he's on Jap car forum and slating Japanese cars! Then there's the fact that he actually has a Jap car himself, probably one of the dullest looking out there!
Anyway, on topic: Jawa, that's a great looking car, I definitely think the Supra looks better than the R33, not sure if I could decide between a Supra and an R34 though, they are truly awesome!
