Who has driven a Twin-Turbo Soarer?

I don't really know to tell you the truth... I would like to publish with certainty who you are so at least if you have some friends they can rally round and help you deal with your problems... that would be a good start... but beyond that nothing really... you make me famous, people from the Top Gear want me on their program, the Radio want me to do an interview about what you and the other sad I-net stalkers do... so I have no animosoty really... you are an annoying squit... but that is about all... you are gonna make me money... so I really can't make up my mind what to do...

I still remain unconvinced about your 30-70mph time MyCroft - the only cars I could see which are quicker are a McLaren F1 and a Caterham R500.
Given your cars power and weight I can only assume there is something very clever about it's gearbox which allows it to post this time?

Re Moose Racer's comment - you do realise that nothing this guy says is true?

The in gear times sound about right, if a little on the low side, bearing in mind that its an auto box and will kickdown. What's the 30-70 time of a modded Scoob/Evo/Skyline, through the gears, as that is effectively what he's talking about.
Mycroft, what's the mpg of the Soarer? Oh, and you never got back to me on your last 3 challenges, which I did accept.
PS Hi Claudius and FB

TaviaRS, 3.1 secs 30-70 is faster than any Porsche, Ferrari, TVR etc etc currently on sale!
At the risk of looking like one of these 'ossers who comment on rolling road results I really do find that difficult to believe from the state of tune that MyCroft has said his car is in.

MooseRacer, I still reckon its almost realistic. GT3 will do 60 in 4 ish seconds, take off the initial 30 mph at what, 1.5 seconds accounting for traction issues and add on the extra 10 mph, say 1-1.5 seconds at full chat and you are close. Or take something like the ND Evo (extreme I know) 0-60 in 3.4, 0-100 in 6.3. Then you still have to take into account that Plummets are usually auto and will have longer ratios so less gear changes.
Question for Mycroft, what are the ratios on the Soarer? Must admit I am quite interested in this car, mainly for its "Q" appeal.
PS Hi again Claudius!

Oh, and Mycroft, what "driver aids" does the soarer have? Its just that I'm an average driver who does occasionaly like to go reasonably quickly on track whose b*lls are bigger than my ability. Would the car save me?

Stop playing silly buggers.
Tavia... the day I take anything from a Skoda owner seriously is the day I shoot my self in the head with a rusty harpoon... ... no offence but... whatever.
The 'Box is not quite standard... to make it that good the Mods cost about £1200... with my power and a totally normal 'box then 5.0secs 30/70 would be right for 380hp... 3.1secs is repeatable and readily available...
Anyone can have a car like mine, as fast as mine, as discrete as mine, as intimidating as mine for just £10k...
I have stated this before... I can sit behind a Lamborghini Diablo (500hp) at 80mph... he can press the go pedal and do anything he can to shake me off and until he gets beyon 150mph even though he pressed first I am all over him and he is in my way... I have to feather my throttle...
At some point you will encounter me and my car on the road... unless you drive something truly exotic... you will be blown into the weeds...

My car is faster than your Soarer and I would thrash you on any road in any conditions, any time!
I just know you're going to ask what car I have but that's irrelevant.....I have just as much evidence to back up my claims as you have to back up yours....

Were you being serious? If so it just shows how blinkered you are and your inability to accept any other performance car.
Tavia's car has covered over 80000 fault free miles with loads of track time and trips to the Ring. It keeps up with Scoobs and Evos on track and on an Autobahn is faster. Don't belive me? At an airfield day his car was GPS tracked (Not speedo reading) at over 160mph.
But Skoda's are a joke aren't they.
