Pepper my names NACRO and I'm honestly not Mycroft.
I was just interested in the twin turbo he mentioned, I wish I'd never posted on this topic now.

They do look a little 'American' I have to admit... it was designed by a Pinifarina trained American so that is natural enough... but a with my contrasting Leather and Alcantara interior that impression soon goes... the Wilton over carpets in my car were a £1600 extra!!! when new... they are rather nicely tailored and edged and logo'd with the 'Winged lion' and 'SOARER' motifs.

Why don't you ask NACRO to answer it for me... hahaha...
(I have been advised to keep all stalkers / trolls / Dwayne Dibleys' at a distance... you do understand... don't you!!!... Dwayne?)

1992 Los Angeles freeway. Wife and I on honeymoon, driving some US pile of crapola. What pulls up alongside? A Soarer TT.
Best looking car I've ever seen, and still in my top 5. Almost bought one in 1999, but went Skyline GTS-t instead. Maybe one day. Top car Mycroft.

Aye but Mycrutch has also said it looks better than a 996 . I'm impressed by the rarity and some of the technology would be worth sampling for a day out. However its not a real 'looker' TBH.

Troll:-
The Soarer is the far better car of the 2...
It has the better engine. (even your sites tuner Chris Wilson has told you all this.)
It has the better suspension. (as evidenced by the car be 'Active Ready')
It has the stiffer chassis. (for the same reason)
It has far superior road holding and handling. (because of the those 2 above)
It has 2 turbos that work all the time, not the rather 'precious' and 'temperamental' sequential system.
Because the car is not a Hatchback, the Soarer has a fuel tank directly over the rear wheels, the car maintains its poise and handling characteristics whether filled to the brim or sitting with just 2 gallons, the car has poise.
You had your chance last night to promote your car and chose instead to waste it in the semi-drunk ramblings of a half-wit.
I do not wish that to happen here so only post if you have driven one and can make valued statements.
Thank-you.

Which is fine but if you were a bit less 'fundamentalist' about it then it would carry more weight. As it is you look desperate to convince yourself and the world.

cant say ive ever driven a soarer , id be embarrased to be seen in one but the Lexus badge is well respected , i understand all the cars are boringly well made ( i have an LS400) , obviously these cars are a force to be reckoned with which is why they have their own site and will be well represented at TOTB2 this year , they are so fast and good looking that all the mags clamour to feature them (not) lets face it guys they are a waste of good metal and pose no performance threat whatsoever

I'm not sure that I get your point, Camk.
I believe the Soarer is simply the best all round car I have ever driven...
I have driven hundreds of different makes and not one has been such a hard hitter all round...
The Muira is better looking but is awful in a million ways...
The Aston has more cachet but tends to leave you 'slumming it' at the road side...
Same applies to Ferrari...
No matter how 'classy' a car is, if it leaves you by the side of the road while Wayne and his in-bred trailer-trash family race by you in their dreadful BMWs' and Audis' it's not for me.

I dont think so, since I believe my Evo is faster than his car, be it in acceleration, braking or cornering. I dont, however, think I could drive faster around a track for 3 hours. That doesnt mean that I am brainwashed, but simply that I am discerning and realistic, two qualities you clearly lack

The guy who imported the Soarers as Lexus’s is now sitting in a cell for misadvertising products and the court said they were Toyotas not Lexus and were innately lower valued. This ruling slashed the price of the cars residual value. I should know, my friends father bought one from this guy for 40k and 3 years later it was worth about 8k. Now that is a lot to loose on a car.
I am not having a dig at the car. Just saying what i know about the car and that it is a Toyota in this country not a Lexus
