Supra twin turbo

Exactly, right!
The Supra has 'simple' bushings which compromise the kinematic profile, so the advice often touted to owners is to get the geomretry done, this for the most part does little to change the situation, with such a large number of bushings in the system any attempt to get a truly accurate set-up with 3+ year old bushes is simply laughable.
The Soarer has 'Controlled Deformation' bushes, so although they outwardly look the same they are far from it... the ratchetted end cap on the Soarer bushings are there to ensure the deformation does occur at a sympthetic angle/rate... until their inclusion in the latest Ferrari Enzo, the Soarer was the only production car in the World to have CD bushings!
the Soarer needed CD type bushes because it was the platform for the Active and an Active car must deflect in a controlled manner to ensure the cars tendency to roll is projected out beyond the cars envelope... I did import some of these for the Supra guys... but no takers...
The 3rd part to make the car behave perfectly is to do with that Torsen diff, it has very lightweight components and that is also its downfall for a road car... I found a solution to that also.
So the quickest and easiest thing to do is my trick with the diff. then the tyres and finally address the kinematics...
Then instead of being umable to take more than 0.88G in any corner the car will exceed 1G with ease...

What a surprise, Liecroft strikes again - spouting bullsh!t as usual!
I would recommend that people ignore Liecroft - any technical knowledge he does have is clouded by the fact that he has a real hang up with Supra owners, even though his supposedly "superior" car is so similar (and "old mans' Supra" so to speak ).
There are no doubt PLENTY of people, here and on other forums, who can provide you with all the information you need (good and bad) about the Supra without being a sad bullsh!tting tw@t in the process.

OK, the car was never imported here... the Supra was... the Supra looks 'butch' in a slightly gay way and is appealing to a certain type... the Soarer is a very sober design, it doesn't attract the 'cor, look at that car wiv the big wing' commments in this Country lexus will never, because of snobbery, be able to compete with Aston Martin and Jaguar... they have no racing history... they realised that fools would scoff at there attempt to take the luxury sports market at the same time as the luxury saloon... we are quick to just decry things here... in the States the situation is different, they will accept good for its own sake and the SC/Soarer outsells and holds it re-sale value better than any Aston or Ferrari (excepting the most exotic models) for 6 years they have voted the SC/Soarer to be FAR better than these expensive european pedigrees...

There's a million "rating" sites out there, covering just about ANY car - and what a surprise, lots of owners saying how great the car is! Therefore your link is irrelevant!!!
And as for your other point - what a load of twaddle! So their values are such because of some preconcieved stereotyping of potential owners, invented by you? LOL
Liecroft, I put it to you that you are a "clown"
LOL

I have to tell you that the clown suit and the big red nose are yours alone to wear... you have no original thoughts in that head of yours and can only contradict and de-cry what was, prior to your infestation of it, the beginning of a good thread...

Quote from Liecroft himself on that site:
"The Soarer is the finest GT produced since the DB4GT,and it has inspired so many copies, after all it is the sincerest form of flattery, the XK8, AM DB7, The latest Merc coupes, were all inspired by the Soarer, if its good enough for most of the quality makers around the to copy then its probably better than all of them, as each will have to make some compromise!"
HA HA HA I didn't realise all those car makers based their car on the Soarer!
LMFAO

Your grasp of English is slightly lacking, inspired and based are not the same thing... my humour and put downs are inspired and you are de-based by them...

But it so true, you are a weak and feckless little man...who has failed to provoke a 're-match' with me after coming off worst the first and second times, I won't play, so like a retard you just throw a tantrum, why can we not melt people like you down and make another? Only this time make a useful individual and not a leech on society...
[EDIT... Muppets new thread... start one if you want to be really humiliated again... it's a big forum and all here will know who you are as mr_biz will tell us all]

The Torsen is based on a worm gear/ worm wheel relationship that allows the worm gear to turn the worm wheel but does not allow the worm wheel to turn the worm gear. Without getting too involved in the unit's complicated inner-workings, this one-way relationship causes the entire spinning process not to occur on a tire that has lost traction, while automatically allocating a majority of the available torque to the opposing tire (with a ratio that varies but can go as high as 9:1). By design, the unit divides differentiation and torque distribution into separate functions, allowing smooth, chatter-free cornering while maintaining maximum torque to both driven wheels. Because the unit is torque-sensing, power distribution is directly related to the traction available at each wheel. Unlike the True Trac (a similar worm gear differential), the Torsen does not require resistance at both wheels to activate its torque biasing process one tire can be completely off the ground and the unit will continue to distribute maximum torque to the opposing wheel.
I believe this is taken from the torsen web site .
