Did it on the front and back - but broke the rubber cover/strap bit on the back...
Anyway - found some in stock in the US - but they're $20 EACH + $20 delivery
Gonna have a shop around this afternoon - see if I can get cheaper (g/f will kill me if I spend 70 quid on a set of bulbs that don't even fit!)

Yeah, I think there has to be a cheaper option.....
Glad to see it wasnt just me being a nancy with the back ones I felt like I was gonna break it so I left it.....
Is the bit you broke vital, or will it still work ok?
So, now we are looking for silver/clear/fancy etc.. T20 bulbs that flash orange....better get searching!!!!

don't think the cover bit does anything - bulb carriers all screw in anyway. Just my ham fists snapped it...
suspect you can unclip it somehow
extra fitment info seems to be part code 7440 (might get more matches).
I'm happy to try T20/7440 bulbs, but don't want to get people's hopes up too much until I've checked them.

Or, back to bulbs, what about these:
http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/APC504144B
$7.50 each.
What was the difference between 7440 and 7443s, cos ive seen both and they look pretty much the same to me?

LMFAO ha ha, the search goes on....
They do look like the ones though so I will probably join you in getting them (probably just the rears for now though) when we find a place that will ship to us.

I've emailed trunk-wotnot and SoundDomain for a 6-bulb inc. shipping quote.
My guess is that I won't hear back til tomorrow cos of the time difference.
Stupid thing is that Subaru Japan sell Imprezas with silver front indicator bulbs instead of the wedges...
I'll post here as soon as I get any further info

I'm placing an order, including 2 bulbs for you to keep costs down (you don't have to take them - I can put them in "For Sale")
total price (inc shipping) for 6 is $52.80 - as long as I don't get stung by customs (even then it's < 15 quid for the pair).
Just checked bulbs in car - stamped with both W21W/WY21W and 7440

Don't know if this company is of any help, but I spotted them at The French Car Show (wife has a C3 before I get any go faster Saxo comments) the other week selling various LED bulbs etc as in the picture posted by JohnMcC. I didn't look that closely at the time. I contacted the FCS organiser who came back with this info:
alans car electrical
kent
01795 421999
He asks to please mention the FCS when calling so they might attend next years show.
Andy.

Guys,
don't waste your money buying the silver bulbs if they are that much hassle to find!
I use a spray can of Humbrol Metallics Silver,
Stick the bulbs in a piece of polystyrene (easier to keep them upright)
2 light coats of the paint and leave to dry.
Can of paint cost a £5

My first supplier (in the US) now tells me that the manufacturer has them on backorder - and it'll be another 6-8 weeks!
Just trying a few others in case anyone has the bulbs in stock - don't really want LEDs (but they're fairly easy to get hold of - again only from the US).
Cam across a possible supplier in italy yesterday - I'll let you know how I get on...

Just one other thing..........re: the side repeaters.....
As they are one unit, I take it that means that any of the readily available side repeaters for the bug eye onwards would be suitable?
Or are they complete units too??
So, who is gonna be the first to de tango the front then...
And once you've had a practice, do you want to do mine?
