They are better than the standard lights.
I had them before! On dipped they are better than standard. On main beam it wasn't quite as good as a set of driving lamps, but pretty damn close!
In the past, I've used high wattage PIAA bulbs, driving lamps, 50% increase bulbs and Morettes. With my new standard car, I'm going for Morettes as they offer the best compromise in lighting; not quite as good as a set of driving lamps, but much better dipped performance.
I hope that makes sense!

Ive had Morettes on mine for about a week now and love them, they are brilliant and makes the car look much better.
Im glad i got them. Bloody annoying that there are now 38 scoob owners who want a set but thats life. lol
They do look wicked and you will be very pleased when they go on
Have fun

Andy, I have Philips Vision Plus headlamps and Scoobysport driving lamps on my MY97, are u suggesting that the latter and Morettes are alternatives and combining them may only lead to marginal improvement? 130 watts driving lamps is more than twice that of normal high beams of the H4 bulbs. I have no complaints regarding the driving lamps, except that the lampholders are under-designed for their use.

The Morettes will improve your dipped beam performance, obviously you will have fantastic main beam, as well as your driving lamps, you will also have all four Morette beams as well!!

Andy will be comming back with prices next week. He said it would be a *very* good discount. Doesn't want to give away prices as it would be unfair to companies he dealing with. Indicated sub 250!!

Wish I'd waited a few weeks longer and bought with the group buy M18use and me bought a set from TSL @ £251.47 each plus VAT plus Carriage.
Fitted them yesterday, which was very easy after the advise given on here. Took about an hour. Make sure the lights are primed up properly. I paid extra for this otherwise the paint will chip like ****!
I haven't had them aligned yet (bloody bank holiday) but can say you will be very pleased with the extra visability at night I haven't tryed them with the PIAAs yet (to cold to remove the covers but so far well pleased.
Andy,
Fair play to you doing the group buy. I did a Defi one a while back........NEVER AGAIN.

OK, everyone who expressed an interest should now have an email with pricing!
If you don't have access to your email, don't worry have a look here for Morette Group Buy prices!
If you are now interested, but did not express an interest before, just call up with your details!
