Do Turbo owners acknowledge Sport owners?

I have a sport and I wave at most scoobys and get aknowledged by some as well.
Got a big thumbs up from a guy in an New STi8 while sitting in traffic the other day. so there can't be too much snobbery about?

I have to confess that, tho' I wave to other Turbos and get, I guess, two out of three waving back, I've never waved at a Sport, nor has any Sport driver ever waved (first) at me!! I guess, as was said on GaryTVR's thread, you know why you bought a Turbo, and you know (s)he knows 'cos (s)he bought one too! You don't have that in common with a Sport owner.
Marky-San's right.... it's the blackness of the 'gape' of the scoop that forces it into the subconscious, or the distinctive driving lights: I don't actively look for other Turbos (except, just occasionally, when in an uncrowded fast lane of a Motorway).... but sure as hell, I see 'em!!

I own a MY00 Turbo, & normally don't bother waving at Sport owners. Snobby, yes. However, whilst my car was in the garage being MOT'd yesterday, the garage gave me a MY00 Impreza SPORT as a courtesy car."Hmm" I thought. In fact, it was a very pleasant car to tool around in - a comfy ride, smooth gearbox, neat pickup when pulling away. Of course it wasn't as special as mine, but I've come away with a lot more respect for the Sport. Looks like I'll have to start waving to Sport owners from now on!

Sport owner, Yes I do wave to Turbo drivers but do they wave back, do they even see me. I wonder. But it is nice to be part of the Scooby Community even if we are invisable. High horses spring to mind.

I've got a MY98 Sport and a MY02 WRX and wave when in both but know that I'll get fewer waves back from Scooped up Scoobs when I'm in the Sport. Hardly get any waves in the Sport, get lots in the Bug Eye.
The missis usually drives the Sport and she gets waved at lots on the way to work but she's prettier than me - slightly!

Never really know what to do. Don't want to sound too Snobbish but what to fellow Turbo owners think?
I tended to get starnge looks when I have waved, so don't bother now, even the Kids now know to look for the Turbo bulge

I still couldnt tell a real STi from a fake or what year they are unless they have those horrid new bugeye lights.
No insult intended.. just my personal preference.

Did someone say Sport?
Right then
* I don't look for the Scoop, I look for the big round fog lamps that way you can see a Sport just as easy as a turbo
* I wave at everything Scoob, including Justy, Legacy and Outback (but then I am on a permanent recruitment drive )
* I am definately not a housewife...yet

This will sound poor, but I find it harder to see Sports - mainly because I'm trained to look for the scoop. I have managed to wave to a few - but they seemed to be housewifes for some reason??

I can second that as on the run we went on the other day me and hubby kept up with all the turbo's and cornered just as well!!!
And like I said before, I love my sport but if I had the cash I would upgrade as soon as!! But alas not yet We do have the same in common we just couldn't afford the turbo
Plus I bet if you saw my car you wouldn't be able to tell it was a sport!! Look in members section under thread Nice pic? My hubby put a pic of our car up
She is BEAUTIFUL!!

They cannot see where they are going because their nose's are so far in the air. To posh to mosh or so they think. Look down here we are the sport drivers.
