Derek e mailed me today, he will be phoning his bank on Tuesday,to confirm nothings bounced!!!!!!!!
So I hope that means he will start sending stuff out Tuesday and Wednesday???? The only delay he has told me about is the 00 vents he is making those now,so I don't think it's a major delay, maybe an extra day or two!!!!! Sorry for those with the 00 cars.
He's also sent me the pictures of my battery side scoop which I think is the first one he's ever made, (looking good), I now am going to buy some primer/paint/laquer as a fellow scooby owner from the Sussex meet has offered to paint them for me, thankyou Gary,(Starship Impreza).
Hopefully have an update for everyone Tuesday or Wednesday.
Cheers Kev.

I am no expert but Gary who is painting them for me (rather than going to a body shop) said you have to prime them first, then you can go to halfords or the like and if you give them your paint code for your car ie mines 406 in silver. They will make up a spray can of your paint, and then you need to buy a can of laquer, to finish it off then let it dry overnight.
If you haven't got anyone who knows what their doing then I would pop down to a local bodyshop and offer cash, as I was originally going to do!!!!!!!!!
Good luck............Kev.

WRXROB> just out of interest how much are you paying them to do it?
I've jsut spent just under 20.00 on primer, paint and laquir.
And primer is on now...

velryba>body shop bloke said the leading edge of the scoop needed a little work to make it 100% and to paint in two pack paint, with the underside done in shiney two pack black.
and the 22b done the same minus the black should be around £80-£90.
i know not cheep but i do like thing done perfect just need to get rid of all those darn stone chips.

so how are ppl gettin on?
ive done the scoop, just needs laquering tonight.
but i had a slight accident with the vent, happily sanding it down and made a big hole in one of the edhes. must have been an air bubble or something that i uncovered. but not to worry rebuilt it with some more filler.
all looking good now. trial fitted everything to start with and the 22b vent looks well tasty, much nicer than the original rubish

If you want me to I will email him to ask for an update????
Otherwise I would start with Trafalgar square first............those pesky pidgeons.
