what cleaners/polish do you use?
Another vote for Meguiars here too!! 
Have always swore by Autoglym super resin polish until I used Meguiars.Use the Gold class wax and the shine is unbelievable.A quick phone call to their customer service line told me to order Body scrub to get rid of swirl marks/prepare paintwork for the wax,gold class wax and Scratch-X to get rid of minor scratches (Which it does too!)

not sad at all, do them regularily enough and its not that much work! just a pain if you dont have a vehicle lift and a pressure washer!
