Is green an unlucky colour for a car?

Had a green vw beetle at 17, couple of months after I got hit by a 40 tonne artic overtaking another artic while I was trying to stick my nose out of the junction to see what was coming, had a nasty shock thats for sure was lucky to escape with my life as it run right over the top of my bonnet. However in another way the car was lucky for me as the coppers who attended said if I had been in a car with a conventional shaped bonnet then I would have been sucked under the artic and been as flat as a pancake just what I wanted to hear as if I wasn't shook up enough.
My old man had it rebuilt as it saved my life and still have it now. After that it still attracted trouble, such as swerving for animals and they swerve the same direction and you end up with a windscreen of feathers and furr , meeting lorries on narrow wet country lanes at slow speed and going straight into a ditch, another time cracked the 2 rear suspension struts (but that did involve a hump back bridge and a big run up )
Never having a green car ever again, obviously it was nothing to do with me being 17
