Sorry CRAFT, must admit I couldn't find the date for this either else would have replied.
CW.... try phoning me sometimes instead of text
Didn't get chance to look at map before leaving, assumed you would be going the "alternative CW "c" road route" Anyway, I was on autopilot that day ...Ok feeble excuses time
Campsite looks fantastic. I'll miss a sloping windswept Welsh hill tho
Its flat, sheltered, next to a pretty river and a short stroll to 3 good pubs.
Oh great.... Beer + S'nutters + water =

Just got back
69 pictures and some Super Nightshot footage (nobody tell ScooBabe ) to peruse. It might help me remember what went on last night
Two new (and brilliant pubs) and the "old classic" campsite - but this year we really, really got the entire hillside to ourselves
Some memory joggers...
...which was nice!!!

Some memory joggers...
- The "pool"
- The chem-bio decontamination tent
- One or two beers
- The beach at midnight
- Barbecued carrier bags
- Texting Mr & Mrs CRAFT
- No satellites (but a dish )
- endless Bo' Selecta
- (almost) watching the sun come up
- Bacon butties
- Flat battery
- Two blue Scoobies missing a turning
- Scampi & Chips
...which was nice!!!

Well, I'm home as well.
Thanks to you all for a great time, sorry to those of you I held up, see you should have brought the caravan
Hmm, next time I must get a louder exhaust, I feel very left out with all those big, loud scoobs around
So what do I remember:
A fun drive over Epynt
Trying to get my exhaust to go pop and possibly even flame
Lying on the beach at midnight
Watching a couple of nutters go in the sea
Someone falling asleep on the "pool"
Boomer with his endless supply of disposable barbies
A mad woman trying to attack me
Motorbikes who wouldn't move over
Phoenix nights
The list goes on, suffice to say, I had a good time, I'll try to make the 6th trip

Just a few images:
All he seemed to do
Maybe he should change his name to Captain BBQ?
Those disposable barbies are dead easy to light, honest
Mmmm, nothing quite like gammon at 1am
At least someone brought a satelite dish
I'm sure there will be more to follow

Thanks to all for a great weekend specially CW, Boomer and Scoobabe for putting it all together for us.
Dave, got home fine thanks to ChrisB seeing me round Stoke. Did a detour via Macclesfield and over the Cat'n'Fiddle to Buxton
Some more memories to add to the list -
* the excellent routes - really varied and speedy (when I managed to keep up)
* the lama (medication nurse!)
* the troop of soldiers in camouflage battle gear and guns laying at the sides of the road
* the impromptu b'day cake (jamaica ginger cake and cadbury choc squares - yum
* the disco shudder...
* that bl**dy squaking crow at 5am after only 2 hrs sleep
* the list goes on... and I found my earing
Rachel, meet you at the next one?
Chrissie
Down into 3rd for another CORNER...

LOL Chrissie
you worried us going straight on in 'Eccles-hall'?
But it gave us a chance to re-do some more of the Staffs Treasure Hunt routes
