Who needs a 2.5 when a 2.0 goes like this ?
Just goes to show, figures/graphs posted on this board you will have to take with a pinch of salt! As they can easily be forged to give fictious results, aint that right Andy! (http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...2744351284.JPG)

That graph was a simulation run of a 1000 bhp scooby through the gears using available traction. It was intended to find out typical performance expectations from a twin engined car
..... mmmmm 0-100 in under 6 secs. 1/4 mile in 9.6
That'll do for me
The first post of Harveys car was of 2 genuine runs in opposite directions on the same straight road using 1480 kgs as the input weight.
Looking forward to Elvington to see who really has useable BHP and who has 'bull' horse power

With Harveys AP22 run I only have Harvey as witness.
For my own published figure of 432 bhp I have an army of witnesses from Well Lane (you were one of them
)and the graph was posted on here for viewing
................more than can be said for your 460 'fairy tale'

Christian : Were you seriously questioning Andy`s integrity. You may wish to clarify your position to avoid any misconceptions.
To answer all the other questions :-
I obtained an Open Deck Block / Short Engine for 1100$ shipped but have not started on the next engine yet as I am agonizing over the pros and cons of 2 litre and 2.5 litre. Matt Clark of Roger Clark Motor Sport will build the engine with mapping by Bob Rawle as usual.
I was at G Force a couple of weeks ago with the 200+ Club and was very disappointed with the numbers which were basically in line with Well Lane last October but a lot of mapping has been done since then and the car is far faster on the road as a result. However, G Force said the figures were very impressive for them as it was the most powerful Subaru by a long way they had seen to date.
BOCU = Boost Oscilation Control Unit similar to the BOCD (Device) obtained for Andy F but I am now running an Apexi AVC-R and Andy has had further thoughts on Boost Control also.
I want to do some experiments on breathing and my inlet tract. I am also going to try another set of Ion Performance headers. The existing air filter is the original K+N with the APS cold air kit which I think is rated at 450cfm so I expect it is restrictive now. I do not know if any of this work will be done in advance of G Force but whatever figures I get there will be used to identify the gains or otherwise from the modifications I have in hand, but all mapping since last October has been aimed at bottom end or mid range gains so the top end has been ignored and consideration will have to be given in that area for high top speeds. Aerodynamics may also play a significant part so I guess I will get a benchmark at Elvington this weekend.

Andy,
its the first of three exams. It was the one I was dreading the most, and probably went better than I expected to, but then no one passes first time, and with a 7% pass rate, I dont think I will be changing that generalisation.
have another 7.5 hour one tomorrow and a third 6 hour straight one on friday.
its impossible to know if I passed or not, and the results don't come out until September
