Hi Andy,
Sorry to hear about your incident, but glad to hear both your girlfriend and yourself are OK.
Just my advice, but get your full door replaced, bit just the skin. I had a little excursion myself some months ago and apparently there's not a lot of difference n cost between a complete door and the skin.
My dealer said that it's a much easier and less timely job replacing the whole door and it'll turn out a whole lot better afterwards - no chance of any corrosion appearing in a couple of years.
BTW can I ask how much the Prodrive spolier cost?
Hope your car gets well soon,
Stefan

Glad your alright. It looks as if the P1 rims held up nicely.. They may not even need replaced at all. Nice car, hope your rebuilding process goes smoothly.

Thanks again for all the kind comments.
It looks like I'll be getting my car back next week!!!
Along with an STI6 front lip spoiler!! And maybe some Prodrive suspension, if I can stretch to it after the excess!!!
Cheers

I heard that Subaru suspension is designed to collapse when it's involved in an impact - even slight.
Anyone know if this is true.
Andy, you're not the only one I know who has experienced the suspension being pushed back in this way.
Hope your rather fab looking motor is gracing our highways again soon.
Regards
Kurt

Thanks for posting - it reminds us we are vulnerable. It is embarrasing to stuff a car like that! I managed with a Legacy Turbo - 150 yds from work! as you can imagine 2 yrs later I still get the odd comment. Like you at the time I was not 'pushing it' there are times I would have deserved to write it off, but not that time! - NO, it is TRUE!!
Anyway good to hear you and the lady are OK
Mick
