Thumbs up

I'll see you all at the ferryboat inn. I will be there after 7:30. Any one know somewhere local to St Ives that can fit a clutch kit for me, was going to do it myself but decided I haven't got the facility to do it safely.

cheers

Ian

Interesting route from PeterB:

A605 out of PeterB by Stanground
TR onto B1095 to Pondersbridge
Stay on B1040 thru Ramsey St Marys, Ramsey, Warboys, Pidley, St Ives
A1123 to Needingworth
Follow signs to Holywell
Cant miss the pub

Exclamation

Posted this in the southern section but I thought I'd post it here as well.

I had a drive over to Holywell the other day and came accross a couple of interesting cars.
Driving along minding my own business 65-70mph when I see a bmw 5 series and a Omega estate abvout to overtake me. They wizz pass at about 100+mph and then slow down for the next village. I catch them up at a junction and proceed through the village. They are both doing dead on 30mph keeping a respectable distance apart. We exit the village, they floor it and I follow (well it would be rude not to ).
It then dawns on me that these are police cars. They are both driving very well and in the middle of the road (something that police drivers are told to do. It gives them more time/room to react if something comes out from a junction or verge).
I then spot that the Omega in front of me has two rear view mirrors. Oooopps!
I reckon they were out on a training run or something.

So if you see a red Omega Estate and a blue BWM 5 series tonight probably best not to show them how much faster your scoob is.
