Great story!

The adrenaline was flowing through me just reading it, I'm a soft sh*te at heart but the thought of being in this situation with some worthless c%*t just fills me with anger. I doubt whether the scumbag will think twice in the future.

Why are there so many a$*eholes in this country?

This just makes you realise how commonplace nasty people are.

Maybe a good idea to replace the Subaru key fob with a Skoda one or something.

Cant praise you enough, needs a few more of these scum to get a good thump to make them think twice. They are totally selfish and will do anything they can to cause hurt to you. They only understand violence.

Better than relying on the leftie liberals to let them off and blame you just for being there!

All the thieving, vandalising b******s that we read about each day, and at last one of them got what was coming to him. Well played mate very stylish, shame you didn't have a dig cam on you to get a snap of him on the tarmac! One down, only a couple of thousand to go....

Well done sir!
A story truly worthy of Billy Connolly himself.
It would be interesting to see what the cops would make of it but I say...... NICE ONE!!
Maybe we should all carry several heavy duty cable ties for just this situation!!

I do have an autolock 2000 disclock and it was on at the time, the idea of keeping the keys seperate is a good one, I'll do that from now on as I haven't so far, cheers for the praise, it was a very odd experience that I could not possibly say what I would have done before it happened but well, now i can! Also, the issue of most of the population handing in found keys, I have had time to think about this and come to this conclusion, IKEA is not a store where you just stroll by and walk in, you pretty much have to drive there, so, this ****** was there in his own car was he not? This would mean that he was prepared to drive off in my car and come back for his own at some future time unless he was some random pickpocket/shoplifter, (from IKEA, unlikely) if he was neither of these he was a shopper and therefore part of the population that would be expected to hand in keys if found. Who knows but the Subaru fob is a bit of a give-away, there aren't that many scoobs per car park and there is the odd ****** with a clue, he must of gone through the thought process I predicted while 'gathering thoughts' in order for this to happen, so, maybe there are less people than you thought that would hand in a set of keys with a manufactures name on, especially if it was one known to be fast and not that common, just a thought, not a nice one. maybe the D.A.I.S.Y age really is dead??!??

I know that Ikea (warrington) pretty well, its nearly always horrendously packed too

I hate going there, and not exactly walking distance from anywhere, even the walk from the car park to the entrance is enough

glad he didnt make off with your car, and sounds like he got what he deserved, or at least a taste of it

over this last couple of weeks, it seems that more and more cars are being attacked/attempted theft etc in all the areas that are local to me

I get paranoid sometimes, and more and more when I get out the car, i can usually hear ppl shouting Subaru Impreza, but never usually here the rest of it, so dont know wether its good or bad
there are quite a few dodgy characters around this neck of the woods, so paranoia usually sets in
