Please can someone update me. I have mailed Rob numerous times about the knocklink & sensor etc but have had no reply to date. My chq cleared weeks ago and I need to know if one of these is finally going to make it my way!!!!!!!

Please mail me. I am not asking for an essay, just an idea of when you may be sending one to me.

You still havn't got an address to send it to because you have not replied to any mail.

Please

Rich

Yeah, I'm not a happy chappy either. It's 8 weeks to the day that the Group Buy started and I paid within the first week.

Rob, if your really busy at work fair enough, but it only takes minutes to post an update.

Thumbs down

Those posts sound bad. I was going to get a knock link through this group buy but that has scared me off big time. I wonder if this boy Rob is sunning himself on some beach in paradise

I doubt it with a half-dozen Knocklinks and sensors

****, they could hunt down Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein quicker

Having dealt with Rob previously, I must admit it was very good service from Rob

IIRC Rob wasnt too keen originally on doing the group buy, due to problems encountered previously with Knock Links

Im not part of this group buy, wish I was, could do with a knock link & sensor

All I would suggest that, if you bear with him, im sure everything will be resolved

I am sure that it is more hassle than its worth organising a group buy and if you are up to your eyes in earning a crust, doubly so !!

For info - I ordered one direct from Avoturbo world Australia on Monday a.m. (9.00am their time) and it was delivered at home Thursday.

Steve,

I'm sure Rob will come through, but weeks are flying by and I'd like to fit it before a) I retire or b) my car blows up

so email him.

Last I heard the last few displays were coming in from Oz imminently.

I also remember him saying it's the last time he tries to do anyone a favour.

If anyone doesn't want to wait and have their money back I will give you what you paid +£10 and take the knocklink and sensor from Rob.

I tried to buy one from a "Tuning company" and waited 3 weeks and nothing turned up, so I cancelled order, paid a 2.5% CC surcharge too. When they were finally available the price went up £50.

Seems like it's all take take take when it comes to some people in the "community". It comes down to the same bunch of people getting people the good deals, doing the legwork, digging out the information, doing the experimentation and all the other things that the rest benefit from.

Get a grip people, in a month your £100 will have earned a whopping 20 pence in interest in the building society, but you're saving anything up to £80 depending on where you would otherwise get a knocklink and sensor from.

Rant over.

Sorry, totally disagree.

It's not a case of take take take. Its a case of people paying out hard earned money for something over two months ago and not hearing what is going on. I, and others on here, fully appreciate how difficult these things are to set up and run, and we do appreciate the efforts of Rob and people who do these group buys.

Two weeks ago Rob said that he was four short, but the rest were being sent out. I haven't received one, so I am either a) one of the four or b) my knocklink and sensor is lost in the post somewhere. Without communication from Rob, how am I supposed to know?

Sorry for hassle that groups buys throw up and I know that Rob is very busy, but come on, one quick e-mail isn't too much to ask......is it?

Paul,

I think it's just general frustration as we haven't heard anything for a while. I ordered 2 and am very grateful to Rob for organising the group buy, but I'd also like an idea of when the kit might arrive. Even bad news is something. I've got a scoobysport exhaust waiting to be fitted, but I don't want to do it until I've fitted the knocklink, just in case ! Having had an engine go bang once in the past, I'm especially nervous !!

And just for the record, I have mailed Rob quite a few times but not had a reply recently. I'm not too worried by that, as I understand how work can get, but I do understand the frustration also.

Anyway, if anyone hears anything, please let us all know,

Ta

Rob has always been quick to reply before so maybe he has that bad 'flu which is going around or some other problem.

He was good enough to organise this "buy" at no gain to himself so those of us still waiting will have to be patient I think. Cant really start being unpleasant without knowing the facts.

I don't think anyone has been unpleasent towards Rob at all - not going on any of these posts.

I must admit, I think Paul (Pavlo) is a bit of an @rse with his post.

God, I only need a sensor (UK-supplied I might add), so WTF am I waiting on these Knocklinks

We'll see ..........

I have mailed Rob many times and not had a single response. I don't just mean this week either, I mean over several weeks as I have moved twice since paying for the goods so he would have no idea where to send them to.

I am really hoping one hasn't been sent out for me so far because it is unlikely anyone will ever see that again as I am not where I was when I ordered the part.

I do genuinely thank Rob for arranging the group buy and securing a good deal for everyone. I had no idea what a knocklink thing was until someone told me there was a group buy on and I had to get one.

please accept my apologies if you feel my tone is inapropriate, and based on some of the replies on here backing Rob up, I am sure this message will get a slating.

This has to be the final time that I try and get a response from you but please update me as to:

1) will I ever receive a part
2) Have you done a runner with the dosh never to be heard from again
3) You have time to reply to other threads apart from this one.

What the hell is the Roger Moore Rob??????

A quick message will make us all happy again, I promise.

Genuinely, pleasse don't take offence, I just want to know you havn't done a runner...

And I don't give a damn about interest I may have made either. The likely hood is however that I will have sold my car before this part turns up.

Does anyone want a knocklink and sensor?

Oh, Pavlo, I believe you may be interested. Mail me if you are genuine about your offer. I paid £100 for both parts, whatever they were.

You are welcome to them at your offer price.

Cheers
