Yeah it was the red one that got nicked, trying to get my other one on the road for this years events.

Steve Rae left, sold his 5, was driving a Prelude last time i spoke to him but that must be a couple of years ago now. Anyone else you want to know about

Yup that's my old car, although a lot of the 'DD' parts were actually fitted by me! before he bought it. Advertising I suppose

I had it primarily for track days and weekends and hence all the big brakes, suspension and stuff were removed. There was some good parts on that car and it looked horrible with that front mount.

Shame about the club

Nice to see mutual respect for other motors, i'm not new to this board been on here a few times.

Thanks Dave The GTTOC did fold almost 3 years ago, i took over and after an AGM decided to rename to RTOC as there were 21t owners turbo 2 owners etc wanting to join as there wasnt really a club for them.

Since then the membership numbers have risen from 400 to over 1200 members bet you didn't think there was that many still on the road did you !!!

Head gaskets are a bit of a myth on an R5 naturally if you're gonna run more boost and not uprate anything else something is gonna give and more often than not its the head gasket, i had my first 5 8 years before it was nicked though and never blew a head gasket once and it was driven hard.
