What about coming down to the 1st round of the Scottish Tarmac Rally Championship at Charterhall Airfield just outside the village of Duns in the borders.
This is only three weeks away on the 29th March and is great for spectating as well as meeting everybody.

What more can you ask for a great early morning run for 1.5hrs and watching all sorts of cars race from Fiestas,Corsas,cosworths and of course SCOOBIES.

Just another idea for something in the future and no need to travell too far.

Also have a friend that has 'fun' outdoor games such as the bungee run, sumo, real table fooball etc.

Could be a run down to Galston way when the weather gets a litlle better. I'll try and remember some flyers on Monday.

 

I had a go at some of those outdoor "its a Knockout "games. Great fun but not as easy at it looks. Got stuck up a wall in a velcro suit.

 

So that's what a collection plate is for :-) No Dougster don't think I know any Elise driving Priest or anyone with two many Ferraris to drive at the same time, wish I did.

Brilliant ideas guys and I am sure there are much better places to go than Coatbridge and probably better dates to. The problem is we always end up faffing about and changing our minds. Then it just does not happen
The idea here was that we meet and have a chat then agree where we have the future meets and on what dates.
The Coatbridge idea meant that everyone knew where it was and we might even get Maxy, Dave Reid and some more Scoobs coming through form the East.
Remember this was not really my idea I just tried to take the suggestions from the previous "Trance" thread to try and get it moving.
After we have our wee bite to eat we could even set off in convoy to the next best location to check it out.
If we do decide to change the first meet could we limit the choice to say Dougster our resident Social Worker After all "He da man with da shinest Scoob on da planet.
