tbh ive noticed its slow and im running 3600mhz cpu

Turned off the cd sound and it works fine now. I think that was the bottle neck for me.

i have an xp1700 cpu and geforce ti4200
i run at max detail and 1024 rsesolution

there is tiny slowdown a bit, but its more than playable
think my card costs about 90 quid

 

Im on level 7 already taken 2 hours.

Im well under par time by 20-50mins.

fixed it - I had to remove C&C Generals, and do a re-install. Sorted it out. I did this on all the machines I tried it on, and also sorted the problem out - rather strange?!??

 

I tried uninstalling it but it won't let me-it keeps coming up with some error and says it will have to close.I uninstalled another program I don't use to see if it there was a problem but it did that one fine.I'll try again.

Tried again and it says"IDriver.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close".I'll try and switch the sound off and see if that improves it any.
