Mr.M

The ex P1 owner isn't likely to say that the 8 he's just bought is slower is he now?

I'll have to drive one but all this hype better be worth it. Anything that weighs slightly more than a small planet needs 300BHP just to get rolling.
No really its down to gear ratios

"Buy an evo 8 than you can choose more colours" - advevo

I might as well buy a bugeye rather than the Mitsubishi equivalent

No I haven't but I do rather fancy an Evo VII. The point I was trying to make is that the Mitsubishi Evo VIII is the ugliest version of the EVO range much like our "beloved" bugeye :P

Thats like saying that if the EVO looked like a Fiat Multipla people would buy it for the driving experience, which they wouldn't because of the looks.

Yes, the driving experience is one of the most important aspects but so is the look of the car. I'm sure Mitsubishi would agree, they just did a "bugeye" with the new model

I think white is the only special order colour. I've just ordered a new STI 8 with Prodrive Pack in silver. The white and silver are much more rare than blue and black.

The other problem is they insist on gold wheels with any colour so I've had to get my resprayed silver/grey colour much like the WRX wheels!

Lancaster in Pangbourne had a few blue and black models plus 1 silver already on order maybe that's why I didn't have to get a special order in.

As far as I know it's a boat somewhere between Japan and here.

I'm thinking about spraying mine when I get it. Maybe I can find an equivalent colour to the black with gold fleck. How much is that likely to cost me guys?

To clarify chaps, there is only one Black colour for 03MY which has a goldy looking mica finish. This will be much more obvious when the car is clean and under bright lights but may look like a flat black when the car is a bit grubby.

Defiant STi, you won't be needing to paint your car!!
