its the car that put a dent in subaru thats why its not been round for long lets face it it dident take them long to get rid lol

Fulham, very nice UNTIL you get to the front - then it all goes out the window. Why did you buy it and invest all that money in a pig-ugly car?? Sorry, imagine what you could have done with a Classic?? MUCH BETTER!!

Each to their own, I say . Never driven a classic always liked the look of them though, but I love MY02. A real joy to drive.

i cannot drive my bugeye anywhere! without people stoping & staring so bollox to those that dont like em, i had the option of buying another classic, either an rb5 or my00 in sonic with loads of mods, & i went for the my01 with morettes & rallytech wing, now ive added full decat, gold sti7's the car is pure sex

Like the bug eyed owners first said

I kind of like my classic for being rattley, agressive looking and bloody quick .

I think the classic will all be regarded as the best in most peoples memories like the mark 1 gold GTI the mark 1 MR2, the Pug 205 GTi. Dont really matter what comes after the classic started it all and created the cult status. A very difficult act to follow. I must have read over 50 test reviews on classics where ever superlative was used.

Looking back I dont think it was the styling that let it down it was the power. You can forgive uglyness if it pushed you forward at a rapid rate. The uglyness was the last straw for me. I wasnt going to swap a perfectly good MY98 for a slower MY01, you can say all you want about stronger saftey cell but the fact it the added 150kgs of weight and no more power. Had it have had 250bhp (like the Jap spec MY01 WRXs) then I would have a UK one right now.

After experiencing 220+bhp/ton I am now loathed to swap for anything less. Guess I will have to sit and see what happens.
