The NBO is to be my first outing to meet other scooby owners and I would like to join in on a convoy on the Sunday, I'm from East Lincs. Where is the nearest meet? (Nottinghaam, Lincoln etc..)

Dug my tent out today. It's gone a bit rotten due to being left in the shed for the last 10 years, so I'll deffo have to buy/beg/borrow one from somewhere.

Think I've managed to borrow one (in principle), but it's one of these tents that needs 2 people to put it up and there's only one of me. So scene is likely to be - pile of canvas/pegs/poles/hoops next to car, and me asleep on the back seat

Just thought - I have no cooking kit (and don't think I'll be able to borrow any), so I hope there's somewhere nearby that serves the good old full English breakfast...

mikee, this is the best place on the 'net ive found for cheap tents the outdoor shop have a look at the Vango Delta's in the Lowland & small group section good quality tents for 50 quid, don't forget rollmats and sleeping bags

I'm not so sure Mikey.. Tom is fourteen you know We all know you can drink much more at that age than later in life..

I will hopefully have the details of the route sorted tomorrow, its not exactly the one you drew for me Mikey as one of the roads is closed and a few changes were needed when we saw the actual roads
It will be excellent though, but its a bit of a boring motorway slog to get up there We will have some stop offs en-route, not sure on a lunch pub yet but may have more idea nearer the time.
Meet-up will be Saturday 14th 10:30 at WOODHALL SERVICES (Northbound after Jct30 on the M1) so as to be North of where most people will be joining the Motorway. If anyone wants to join even further north then they will have to email me to arrange a contact.
Shell Optimax is available there, or at a few other points en-route.
