Actually both , either 8.30 at settle baths or 9am at the devils bridge butty van , all other convoys meeting us at Kirkby Lonsdale sign up on here so i can sort out parking requirements for the morning , this is going to be one of the most "scenic" routes to the big one!!!!!

certainly am (a couple of miles from endmoor actually). The lad who is coming with me is some long lost possible relative of my other half. i took him to the Donny show and he loved it and wants more.

I am getting nothing but greif from her in doors though as she says it is daft to go all the way up to the lakes (100miles) then across to the NBO (100miles???) when lightwater valley is only 60 miles away from home. Will she ever learn??

my geography is pretty **** poor but the settle baths 8:30 then devils 9:00 are'nt we going the wrong way ie east to west

The original start point was kirby to attract lancaster / cumbrian scoobs and this is where we will officially start BUT to attract scoobs from keighly , skipton , clitheroe etc who want a "scenic" route rather than a boring run across towards ripon on the road with lots of "photo opertunities" i have decided that i will nip into settle and give these people chance to join us , so yes your geog is correct and yes the official meet point is Kirby at 9am.

It looks like the Cumbrian Scoobs are convoying straight over to Scotch Corner from Penrith so not coming down to Devils...maybe you can meet them up before Scotch?

 

KaraK , Lancaster - Caton - Hornby - Melling then in 2 miles bear left as you go over the river bridge , carry on through Tunstall until you meet the A65, turn left onto main road and we will be 500yds on the right hand side.

That is a lack of commitment, I have given away a £200 overtime shift for the NBO and associated dales run.

Subacos, it is now confirmed I am staying at endmoor so will see you at devils just before 9. Have to bring her in doors though and an ozzie friend who quite likes Jap cars.
