Listen up ,
A "dales run" style convoy with organised route , from kirby lons to lightwater valley , joining the Northern Big One , fantastic route on the way there , a mass scooby gathering just before lunch , white knuckle rides all afternoon and the same awsome route in reverse on the way home , anyone up north who wants a "run" to the BIG ONE post here and i'll organise the rest.

TCMY95 - THE START POINT WILL BE KIRBY LONSDALE (A65) BUTTY VAN BY THE BRIDGE , TIMES WILL BE ARRANGED NEARER THE TIME , FULL PRINTED ROUTE MAPS & DIRECTIONS WILL BE HANDED OUT ON THE MORNING. ALL THATS NEEDED FOR NOW IS FOR EVERYONE TO POST AND CONFIRM THEY ARE COMING.

DETAILS OF PETROL STATIONS , FOOD STOPS ETC WILL FOLLOW , ANYONE TRAVELLING FAR TO ATTEND THIS "RUN" STYLE CONVOY NEEDING TO STOP OVERNIGHT LET ME KNOW AND I WILL SEND YOU LOCAL DETAILS.

 

Might be joining the run with you lot, though it is an hour up to devils and only 45 minutes to LWV for me. Do I really want to spend another £50-60 on go juice?

You should worry... my little "not quite standard" Pug does 11MPG. Needs to fill up at around 90 miles ! 100 miles and your pushing it as to whether you'll make it to the pumps !!!

 

I've got one of those pugs too, took her to Trax the year before i got the scooby and worked out it was cheaper to hire a transit and trailer the thing down.

Bloody nice very quick car though, just a bit steep on juice. I ended up buying the scoob to slow me down a bit and reduce petrol costs!!!

A word of advice mate,if i was you i would change the meet up point to somewhere bigger ,ie large car park in the town.

P.s i was in the white E6 on the last run didnt do the run as i got called away at last min, looked like a good do by the pics.

SK , the car park in town will be full in june , across the road from the buttyvan laybye are 100 more parking spaces , if response exceeds this i will organise a private parking meet and post details. C u on a run soon.

You sure you're OK organising this run mate....these scooby peeps are pretty handy in their cars you know....not like them there old Cossy peeps, s'pose you could always bring a tow rope and attatch it to one of their rear bumpers so as to keep up

As you can appreciate, for LordHarding to work out who wants to come, he is going to have to go through every post on all the threads ...what a nightmare for him

So, if you are interested in coming, please subscribe to our mailing list so we can see how many folks actually are coming. We can then fire round an email once a fortnight to everyone to keep you all updated on things like change of date or even change of venue, what stalls will be present, how to get there, etc...

OK GUYS , ROUTE PLANNING IS WELL UNDER WAY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE EVO 4RS HAS GONE AND I AM BACK HOME IN A SCOOBY , ALL WE NEED NOW IS A LOT MORE NAMES POSTED ON HERE TO ENSURE THIS CONVOY IS A BIG ONE!
