Jersey,
Lord Harding needs very little encouragement in these matters.
I would book your place on the boat to Monte Carlo before the rush starts.

Only 9 weeks to go to the NBO ******************
if anyone has friends coming with their scoobys who dont have access to the scoobynet or cumbrian scoobs website and have not registered please could you put their details on here as everyone we speak to knows of someone who is coming !!!
we are <slightly worried> that if over 500 scoobs turn up on the day we might have to park some on the roofs of other scoobs
which will spoil the photos

Just trying to plan out my trip down to the NBO. Can anyone recommend a good hotel in the area looking for DB&B for two
I'm planning on travelling down on the Saturday morning and staying somewhere and then travelling to the meet on the Sunday. I have a brochure which lists the Crown Hotel and the Majestic, any views on these? Is there anyone else staying over night in the area?
Cheers

Charlie Whiskey,
If your North Yorks Moors route takes you anywhere near Farndale, pop into the Feversham Arms for (IMHO) the best barmeal around.
Look forward to seeing everyone on the day.
64 Days to go
Cheers

Charlie,
Thats the nice thing about the place, nobody knows is there.
Farndale is located half way between Castleton and Hutton le Hole.
It is in a valley and if you didn't know it was there, you would drive straight past.
Very famous of its 'daffodil' walks.
Brilliant driving area.
Its about 30 miles to lightwater valley from there.
Try www.fevershamarmsinn.co.uk
Cheers

Ah, know where you mean now, there is a sign for it by the old railway bridge near the Lion Inn, I can see it on the OS Landranger 94
Thanks, I will see if it can fit in with our plans
