northern BIG ONE *********************2003
The cumbrian scoobs in conjunction with Tyne-tees scoobs would like to hold the NORTHERN BIG ONE *************
After the success of gridlock mickys BIG ONE held in Gunthorpe Nottingham last year , we would like to hold a similar event for all the northern scoobs a vision of at least 150 scoobs rising to a maximum of 300 scoobs!!!!!!!!!
in one meeting place
would this be possible?
we could muster up 20 -30 scoobs from Cumbria
and a similar amount from the north east so we are allready on our way.
we are planning to hold it at
LIGHTWATER VALLEY THEME PARK
(just north of Rippon and Harrogate 15 minutes off the A1 )
it would be a family event hopefully to attract more members the theme park can give us discounted tickets for anyone who wants to go on the white Knuckle rides and there is a shopping village and eating / toilet facilities etc
Lightwater Valley has kindly offered us a parking area the size of a football field so we could cram 500 scoobs in if neccessary
the date is SUNDAY 15 JUNE 2003
with arrival times to vary between 11 & 1 pm
it would be great if we could organise convoys to come in from various parts of the country for a MASS MEET The only thing stopping us is you fellow scoobs out there !!

I'll be there in my Fugly. I'll see if a friend in a EVO wants to play. Last time I went to a meet at Lightwater Valley I got done for speeding so let's hope lightening doesn't strike twice!

Oh yeah, I go to the RSOC meets there too, it's a good field, nice and even, doesn't flood etc! There's also a mahoosive car park plus an even more mahoosive overflow field, parking will be no worries at all
