is a 34 year old girl too old for a 25 year old man/boy? (me)
she hits 34 tomorrow, and everything is still pointing where it should do, quite impressive really.
Have to say she is stunning, from an unbiased point of view, regardless fo age.
kind girl you trun your head at in the street, but has the girl next door thing going on.
jennifer connoly, sandra bulock, natalie portman, nigella lawson type thing.
shes great!
as I said before, even if I can deal with it, need to get her to see things the same way, and from past conversations I get the impression that might be difficult.
Am not holding out a lot of hope, but am not bothered, at the moment am just glad to know her. Thanks for the opinions.
didnt expect them to be so resoundingly pro.

Well its worked for 3 years now
My opinion is that it comes down the type of person. We have a house together and the age difference never been aparent.
Some 19 year old don't want to party all of the time, but then some 29 year olds do
The fact is, it works, we're happy
Oh, and I've done the settling down and getting married thing. Didn't work

From: Casualty or Holby City, Take your pick, it's not like that in real life!!
I'm 29 and my fella is 24. I was worried before we got together cause I was older but it's the best thing either of us have ever done! We don't even notice the age gap most of the time! I know it's not as big gap as you two but it's well worth it if it's gonna make you happy!

I don't know you, or how many GFs you have had etc, and it all may all seem wonderful now, and I am sure you are very happy......BUT are you a little unlucky with the ladies and maybe a bit desperate?
Right now you are both still youthful, but what about when you are 35 she is 44!! She may start going though "womens problems" while you still have an eye for the ladies.
Take my advice (I talk from experience here) - Have fun, and get rid before she gets too old, get old with someone of a similair age or younger.

Mrs Duk is 8 years older than me & we've just got married, on her 40th
after five years together. Just go for it
One piece of advice though, keep her away from your mother, they're likely to get on much to well for comfort
One added benefit is the insurance for 'Old Dears' on scoobs is very reasonable, as they are considered low risk

I prefer older women myself!!! They are far better lovers and usually they are more understanding, when it comes to going out with the mates, etc.
I have lived with a 43 year old when I was 19, and she was great. But eventually wore me out
I also had a fling with a 18 year old a few months ago, and felt a little uncomfortable with it, being 32 now.
Life is for living, so if it feel right, get on with it
Cheers Phill C

Adam,
I find it quite disturbing that you feel you need to get advice from an on-line community, as whether or not to go for this relationship or not??!!
Not that I am casting aspertions, but if she is such a babe why do you need other peoples feedback?
Please don't take this the wrong way, as I would hate for you to get insecure.

Regards,
Shaun.

shaun, you are a to55er, nothing you could say would ever upset me so dont worry
.
I wasnt looking for go for its or not, just wondered what outsiders would think of a 25 and 34 year old together. I would not have made my decision based on what i have read.
As for past history, have had a few long termers (1 6 years and a few 6 months and another year) been playing around for the first time over the past year and am now realising it isnt for me.
I prefer regular stuff.
with regard to her getting on with my mum it isnt a problem since she has sadly passed away.
My step mum shouldnt be an issue as she is related to this girl and nothing but great things to say about her.
oh and once more for shauns benefit, go **** yourself!

Whatever makes you happy.
You're only here on earth for one life (unless you believe in reincarnation and even then you risk coming back as an ant
) so live your life instead of worrying about it. If it doesn't work, you gave it a try, and if it does then you'll have a happy life together. Seems worth the shot to me.

Adam,
I have asked Lorraine (Wife) as she is 34. She says she would have no problems going out with a 25 year old.

We are both 34 and don't do anything different now to what we did when we were 25 so I can't see a problem.
Age is all about what sort of things you enjoy doing. If you enjoy doing the same things then there isn't an issue and I can't see the problem.
