Go see a solicitor

My first scooby was attcked whilst parked outside my house by an unisured driver, I went to a local solicitor who manAged to get me damages and money for my repairs.

I must say tho mate I can imagine it was quite harrowing but first thing I would have done is called the police

In retrospect I think a lesson can be learned by this awful, terrifying incident. Remain in your car with doors locked and phone the police immediately before any sort on confrontation.

A similar situation happened to me a few years back, but I remained in the car with the doors locked but exchanged words with the other driver with my window partly down. He tried to reach in and get my keys. I just wound the window up and trapped his arm, drove off slowly with him still 'attached' to my car. Other motorists stopped to assist, when I released his arm, he legged back to his car and drove off. I reported him immediately to the police and they took it seriously and the moron was subsequently prosecuted.

I was advised by the police...never get out of your car, lock all doors and keep windows shut, phone them immediately, activate your alarm and sound the horn to draw attention to the incident.
