Well as I had Goodyear Eagle F1's on it, it went round corners just as well in a Scoob in the dry, not as well in the wet though, but still very good in the wet! Don't know how well it goes round corners now as I sold it nearly a year ago.

I've got a S2000 (silverstone with red interior - nice ).
Anyway, it's a fantastic drive, great round corners, RWD (very important to me), and the engine, oh the engine
I'm glad it's being compared to the Boxster as they're similar performance, fun factor, abilities etc. The only question is - Are you prepared to pay £10k for for the Badge? (you can get cheaper boxsters but they are a lot older, s2ks have only been out 3/4 years). I don't care too much for the badge as long as the car is good. If both cars were the same price then I'd have a longer think about which I'd prefer. As it was the porsche was written out right at the start as there are none 2 1/2 years old at £19k (which I payed just under). There are none anywhere near in fact.
The S2000 is however better than the Z3 (have to pay a fortune to get the Z3M, the others are nowhere near - hate the BMW badge anyway so very unlikely to see me owning one. I have however driven a Z3 throughout NZ 2000 mile road test and although fun to an extent it's not in the same league as the Honda S2000).
The S2000 is better than the SLK, much better than a TT and way way way ahead of all the other roadsters (MGF, MR2, MX5 etc.).
Hood down, proper sports/performance car for the money, the S2000 can't be beaten. And it's far far far more exclusive than any other roadster.

Call it badge snobery if you want, I just see it as buying the brand of car I have always wanted, and that is not a Honda, Nissan, Subaru or any other Japanese car.
Please see that I am not putting your car down, or the brand, I had a Subaru once, it was a fine car, maybe even better than my Porsche..it just was not a Porsche, the car that I had always wanted.
When I had enough money I bought the car I always wanted, I cannot see how that makes me a brand snob.
