Comp games - Jet Set *****, Match Day II, Renegade, Falcon, Kick Off, Test Drive, Carrier Command, Delta Force 2, System Shock 2...

Console games - Sega Rally, Colin McRae 1, MGS, Driver, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Turismo..

probably more but i can't remember!

Anyone remember Spy Vs Spy and Beach Head on the C64?

Not forgetting Racing Destruction Set?

In the arcades:

Hard Drivin
Out Run
Sega Rally
Another rally game which I cant remember but you looked down on a Celica, sort of 3D view.

Edited to say that I actually won a full sized Double Dragon machine when I was about 13 - I won it from one of the Amiga mags and my mum was expecting a small console She nearly collapsed when a wagon turned up to deliver it!!

All time favorite arcade game: OUT RUN. I remember going to the cinema with my Nan and my sis and seeing it in the film BIG when Tom Hanks is trying to get back to being a boy and I screamed out "OUT RUN..". Taxi...

I got a C64 when I was about 6. Wrote my first computer program on it to make a little graphic move across the screen. Now doing computer programming for a job!

Personal favorites:

Pitstop 2
Thing on a Spring
Kung Fu Master
Winter/Summer Games
ANyone remember the name of the one where you did hackysack, halfpipe etc? California Games?
Gauntlet

Oh they were the days..

Wink

Anyone remember asteroids? Where the little triangle shaped space ship had to destroy the asteroids floating toward it.

Then there's battlezone, where you drove a tank around a battlefield, shooting stuff.

Recently downloaded the latter for my HPC - tip top.

Regards
Kurt

O.K... I bet *no-one* remembers 'Raid Over Bungling Bay' on the C64 !!!

It was like Desert Strike (remember that!) on the MegaDrive but better.

Rikki - It was California Games - excellent.

Here is another obscure game which I seemed to have on the C64 (I still have the cassette somewhere cos I loved it that much)

It was called "Rocketball", and was based on the film Rollerball with James Caan or whoever it was. It was excellent.

mattski

yep not only do i remember it but i've still got it somewhere.

must admit them old games were definitely as enjoyable to play as anything around now. even though they didn't have the graphics or sound available then.

or am i just a sad live in the past type of guy !!
