Those look like the ones I got for my new bumper, but mine were plastic and came with the clips.

They are nothing special and could be made using bits of folded metal. Ill take some dimensions and photos when they come back from the spray shop.

Incidentally, the original items only have tabs at the top, the lower edge looks to be held in by one 3inch long bolt through to the foglight mount.

Im selling my old ones to cover the cost of the replacements, if anyone is interested. Open to offers..

Sparky,

I only used the two top clips from mine as I wanted to have a screw in the lower corner like the real ones.

To do this I made up a little bracket and drilled a hole for a stainless self tapper to go through. It looks pretty factory for it.

Anyway, I only need to keep one clip as a spare if you wanted one to copy. Email me your address and Ill post it to you.

Alternatively, you can come down to Kent and see how I did it at the weekend.

Sonic,

I can do one at the weekend, and maybe even a 'scanned' scaled up drawing.

Be nice to finally use that Technical Drawing skill from School.

Now if only I can find a practical use for calculus

Here are the OEM STI brackets for the pre-facelifted bumper.
Note To fit lamps aswell, these brackets will need to be modifyed!!

mrts are $95

ok mate, does the £25 include brackets? I might drill a hole in the corner and use a security bolt aswell to stop any thieving b******* taking them off!

The stickers can be bought here for £7 you can choose the colour, dunno if post is extra.

mmmm!!! I just bought a pair of covers from a company called Jap Innovations and when I ordered them they told me that I just needed to undo the screws on the fog lights place the covers and fix again with the original screws. However when they arrived this is clearly not possible without brackets/fixings of some sort - I have e-mailed them and left a message on their answerphone - so will post here when they advise what I have to do!!

They use the same pic as the one in this thread from MRT - indeed they are suppliers of MRT stuff - so I guess they are the MRT covers. Several times the price charged by Derek though!!
So am assuming that they must supply the fixings as well just forgot to put them in the package - as they also forgot to tell me the total they are charging me or put a credit card receipt in the box.

Right here is a pic of Dereks covers on the front of my car this morning.

It was raining so I didnt hand about

And here are the dimensions of the brackets.
You dont need to replicate the exotic shape, just use a L shped but of metal that ends in the same place - In relation to the rivet hole.

Derek,
Im putting the original bracket in the post to you.

Unfortunately, I sold my early brackets with the covers and they now reside in Ireland. I do remember what they look like though if you wanted one of my 'nonkey' sketches.

Rasher, i think if you want O/E and you don't mind spending the money then you got a good deal as long as your happy with it, i wouldn't pay that much for light covers as i would need the money for tyres or any or parts that need replacing, so for me the £25 light covers are ideal, i can look the part on my limited budget.
