Doh... got you now
8 x 380's would be ok for 600 bhp if thats enough ?? or 700bhp if you hike the fuel pressure
Plenty cheap 380's around
(thinks....****, I'll need to use 12 )

Ok,
I've been digging into the FSE fuel reg's, a little deeper, and I have just been given the test results from the various reg's that they sell.
To be honest, I'm more than a little surprised.
The 1:1 reg gives slightly below 1:1 example: At 3bar atmo' and 2 bar boost, it gves 4.8bar pressure. It should give 5bar.
The 1.7:1 gives nigh on exactly 1:1 !!!!
They also do a "Race spec reg'" 2:1 this gives, based on 3bar atmo'
1bar boost 4.2bar
1.5 bar 5bar
2bar 5.7bar.
These are from their own internal flow testing !
So, maybe Pat can redo his post, based on the above info ROFLOL
The Bosch 044 pump is one of the best "in line" pumps, but actually flows less than the Walbro in tank pump.
Personally, I would recommend that some of you guys are going to have to do what I've done, and run two Walbro in tank pumps, with two fuel lines from the tank, into modified parallel fuel rails.
Mark.

Thanks Mark - you just answered my 2nd question re. your engine bay
The regulator thing's is a bit worrying though - I expected to be able to reliably raise pressure if/when my 550's run out of puff as a cheap fix. How does the OE regulator stand up as a comparison?
Richard
