"Just wanted to offer my condolences in advance to the Man U supporters for effectively ending your season by beating you tommorow"
I live in the Northwest, so I have loved hearing all the Liverpool fans going on about how they are going to win the European Cup, League, and Grand National on the local phone-ins. Now they are calling for Hoolahoop to stand aside and let pinnochio take over.
Mondays should not be this happy...

Neil on Wheels - people have knee jerk reactions, I have heard all kinds of stuff over red nose on the radio. The sensible supporters know its only a blip - most teams have them, you've had yours and probably have another one too. We're still 2nd and 2 points ahead of Mancs, we play Charlton away this weekend and there's a good chance we can turn things around. Houllier is a good manager, look at his record over the past three years, 4th, 3rd, 2nd - thats good progress in my opinion.

You seem to me like a level headed Liverpool supporter (well you aren't one of the ones who are saying the Uefa Cup is in th bag now). I agree, you don't become a bad team overnight, you are suffering from a lack of confidence in my opinion, and are right in the middle of a blip. We are still in ours I reckon, I wouldn't be suprised if Arsenal take us to bits on Saturday, as wel haven't yet convinced me that we are anywhere near back to our best. I think the problem with Liverpool too is your play is a bit one-dimensional, and when teams stop the supply, they stop Liverpool.
The thing we have got back (and which was sadly lacking in the derby) is the fight, we look like we want to win again.
You can put yesterday down to whatever you want, I know Dudek will want to forget it, but it was simply a victory by the team that wanted it more - just like you on the previous 5 occasions.

Yes perhaps. We seemed to show you guys too much respect yesterday, we appeared over cautious. I like the idea of Babbel at right back - he's not afraid to get up and down the wings. Maybe a game too soon for Babbel. And Riise is good too, he does the same. With Carra and Traore they defend very well, but offer little else out of our own half (in my opinion). Babbel and Riise would offer us the width.
Anyway, tale of two keepers I suppose and for what it matters, I thought your defence was very tight yesterday and a little more bend on Hamman's shot would have got the draw.

Chris - thats why I asked if you were there....the highlights don't show everything tbh and not being biased, but Man U weren't very good at all. Nothing like the team they once were! Yep it is Lynne btw
