I'd suggest 11am as a meeting time, this allows for any stragglers to catch up, and we can maybe head to a more suitable venue for lunch.
Paul, do you fancy contacting that place you mentioned today, to see if they would be interested in serving us with hot soup and rolls or similar around 13:00 on the 28th ?

It''s quite possible I'll have my kids along, so a coffe in the soft play area and a natter with Skyenett is on the cards I think.
If the weather is foul, then I'm not even gonna consider trying to keep up with you guys on some mad twisty country road.
I may put my car on the dyno at Strathclyde Auto Clinic for some entertainment, might make good spectating

I'm not exactly 100% sure that I'll be there for the meet. You see my dad died today so I don't exactly know what state of mind I'll be in on Saturday. At this moment in time though, my intention is to be there. So if anybody doesn't turn up, I hope they have a better excuse than me.
If I do go, please bear with me if I appear a bit distant as I've probably got other things on my mind.

Yes, sorry about your loss. My Dad died when I was young but reality got a bit of an awakening when my Mum fell and ended up in hospital for a hip operation last month. Because she always seemed so fit I had forgotten that she was in her seventies. Skye and I had to take a trip to London to help out for a few days. Luckily she is recovering well, but it was difficult managing down and wish my relatives were all not as far away. Has been a very quiet Xmas for Skye and myself.
Still planning on comming along on Saturday. Softplay area had better be open as I need a bit of a breather. Long lost relatives (on ex's side) in Largs still in telephone silence so will probably just call in on them later in the day. Will probably head over Eaglesham to the A77. Keeping an eye on posts so will figure out a time nearer Saturday.
