Monkton Lodge is easy to find, follow the signs for Prestwick Airport, coming from Kilmarnock along the A77, at the roundabout just after you pass the Hansle Village you'll see a sign for Monkton & Services, 2nd exit.
From the A78, follow the signs for Prestwick Airport, you'll come to a roundabout where the A78 ends, Prestwick Airport (A79) on your right, Kilmarnock (A77) on your left. Follow the sign for Kilmarnock and at the next roundabout (1/4 mile) take the last exit for Monkton & the Services.
In the Services there is a BP filling station and The Monkton Lodge is just behind it. There is ample parking, and soft play facilities for kids, a bar and resonably good food.

Soft Play area :-) Sounds good for Skye. Might well pop along as I could combine it with a visit to long lost relatives in the area. I am sure the Smartie will enjoy the run.

I suggest 1300hrs!
Enough time to have a chat and then decide where we are going for:
1 - Some heat!!!!
2 - A drink! ie coffee or coke cause we will be driving
3 - "FOOD"
So whos up for that?
