Celtic...Liverpool...that's how you do it!
And who can forget the **** winning the title at Anfield with the last kick of the game

Get over it Ash1 you should be looking forward to Charlton not downing all that John Smiths
and hoping the **** beat Utd, in reality a draw at Old T would do Liverpool the world of good.
Dave

Mate, I got over it on the day, I'm just having a laugh at you guys and keeping the thread going.
As a team we've nothing to prove anyway, I'm more than happy with the Pool progress over the past few years and have never been one to have reactions because we have lost two games.
I laugh cos red nose and everyone else thinks you are back, just cos you beat a team that is out of sorts at the minute. One result does not equal a season.....and the **** are the best team by a mile in the Premiership

Nowt to do with Yorkshire folk
Its Bitter, a bit like you were last week
, sorry it was a play on words which passed you by.
Happy now this thread was kept alive??
The best team won again

Like I said yesterday that was the best result the Pool could have hoped for, your lot can beat Charlton and we have a good title race on our hands.

Ash1 Cheer up man That was one of the best games of the season
But I can understand your anguish after Charlton, dear oh dear, and what with Utd winning in such a classy controlled manner, Arsenal were never allowed to play and didnt have the hunger, utd were 1st to every ball they won that game fair and square and im gonna gloat for once because we have had fukc all to gloat about, well apart from Sunday
for a long time.
It hasnt been your week has it but continue to console yourself in rubbishing Utd, its theraputic or is that dillusional??
even though it doesnt defelect from the fact that Utd continue to improve and Liverpool continue fall away even with your full squad intact

Munkii, I don't console me yourself with performances like you've had over the last week. We have different opinions on todays game, it was by no means a great match to watch. I thought **** would be up for it today, but like us last week they weren't. Mind you if someone had said to me 2 years ago that we'd win 5 out of 6 against you then I would have taken that.
Agreed, we're going through a bad patch, but we're good enough to string a big unbeatan run - last two years shows that and we did finish above you chumps last year.
One thing for sure, the whole things warming up a bit now - everyone's taken their eye off Chelsea....

Lol ash u really do have issues showing any praise towards utd don't you? "****, like liverpool werent up for it". I came into work tonight with 2 spurs fans, a liverpool fan and a man city fan. All agreed it was a cracking match along with myself.
Henry and Pires looked lost. Utd were first to nearly every ball and showed the passion and commitment that has won us previous titles. Arsenal didnt even cause Barthez to make a save in the 2nd half even though they had a lot of posession.
Liverpools problem is that they dont play to win until its too late. They are too cautious and it costs them. Arsenal are a great side cos they score lots of goals (at least one a match until today) which helps them win.
Simon.

Ash1 - You've done a fine job, mate.....
this thread lasted as long as you wanted,...
we're still smiling,....
Henry hasn't put our ambitions into orbit (well, not today, anyway),.....
and, at least for another week, we're not behind you.
But I'm a bit worried about you, Ash. You've now got enough gunshot wounds in both feet for 'em to look like a front valance off a Tuscan!
Best of luck in the UEFA Cup.

Azide, its all been a game to me, I've put myself up there to be shot, reeled a few in and am sure I had you all thinking about this thread today - it could have gone either way, on this occasion you and your supporting buddies managed to shoot me down. Actually had been thinking about P1Fan last comment before I saw his post - that we only come out to play when it matters and not for 90 mins, too cautious and need to be more bold, also think Kewell / Duff would give us the thrust that we need.
Anyway, I'll be here, lurking and waiting for my moment, like the Pheonix and our team I will rise again....

Ok, you're boring me now, but lets start mopping up here.
We've got P1Fan who now thinks he is Yoda telling me I've a lot to learn - from who exactly ? Let me educate you oh master, your defence seems much better with Silvestre and Brown (yes, thats a compliment), but these guys will have to step aside for ferdinand / blanc when they are fit - thought about that and its implications ?
Also, you must factor your recent success with the fact that Beckham is not playing, invariably 'stars' get complacent and others that come into the team have a point to prove, hence the initial upturn in performance. But again like the defence you will have to accomodate Becks when he's fit. Another change to a winning team.
As for Azide, you who still reckon 60 million on Veron and Ferdinand are quality buys. Cmon - have you heard of cost / benefit ?
I actually think Senegalese Diao is quite a good player and why would you have PPP when you can have a P1 ?

Changing a winning team, that's the pot calling the kettle black. 'oullier must keep losing the previous week's teamsheet coz he's not picked the same team in months!
Comments on Veron and Ferdinand aren't far off the mark re value (only coz no-one's worth that money anyway). But at least Veron's been performing in the Champions League, unlike other notable international midfielders.
And, Ash1, get a grip, 'oullier hasn't got anyone the football equivalent of a P1. Not unless it's one with the special duvet induction kit downgrade, 12" steels, 3 inline cats and a sub 10db muffler!
Had enough of this, I'm off to watch my tape of Norman Whiteside scaring the crap out of the Kop by grinning at 'em.

Not been on Brookside (yet u mean)? Like the interview Veron did with Fayed...
You can't argue against Micky winning Ballon D'or can you ? Look at this list:
1997 Ronaldo Barcelona
1998 Zinedine Zidane Juventus
1999 Rivaldo Barcelona
2000 Luis Figo Real Madrid
2001 Michael Owen Liverpool
Not a bad bunch of players....

Come on, Michael Owen definitely does not belong in that list. Ruud and Henry are far better strikers...and the only midfielder in England worthy of that list is the little ginger prince Scholesy...

You see you can't bring yourself to admit it can you, because it hurts and its a fact, but then there are those on this forum who have a go....
Where was your man Beckham - 4th.
Imagine what Micky will be like when he's at his peak?

Mr SWIN, I did say 'at the moment' which you failed to pickup on.
Owen is having a bad season isn't he - he's only managed 14 goals so far this year.
You have conveniently forgot that he, Emile and Gerrard took Germany apart in what was one of England's finest sporting moment of recent times.
But its nice that you remember one of the best ever world cup goals.
