However....I'll be grabbing a lift over with Andy Timmins as the 21 will (hopefully) be sold by then...
Harj me old china, can you please mail me details of hire charges in Nurburg...I know the odd TT is available.

I have to say im glad your not taking the 21 as it was one of the leariest laps ive ever had round there

The people to rent cars from are SIXT Hire company, go on their website and you can get the cars. Make sure you book over the web as its the web offers that are cheap and collection should be from Bonn which is the closest big place for TT's and Mercs.

Oh yes, bring it on mekon, bring it on.
I assume we are talking about 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th May?
This will give me at least 4 days to prepare for a 9 day trip to do Trophee Cevenol. I have promised myself not to roll end over end 4 times on this years event
As soon as the dates are confirmed I will hire me a TT.

Those dates sound fabulous!
I'll be there, but not in the 330D!! After much deliberation and looking behind the cushions on the sofa for loose change, I've managed to scrape together enough for my new toy!!
Last Friday I took delivery of a very nice P-reg Nissan Skyline GTR33 V-Spec! That will be making the trip to Nurburg with me this time. Should be good for a sub 20 minute lap!

Rich, no not yet. I did however go and spec it up last Saturday
It will be built over the summer but basic spec is;
permanent 4wd
330-340 bhp
1400 kg
0-60 should be low 5's
Top speed will be 120 ish
and it will sound bloody fantastic!!

When the dates are confirmed I will hire a something or other.
Still have 2 seats available in the car for the trip over. It will either be an S500 or an ML55 AMG (which arrived yesterday and I dont like) but attractive single girls need only apply
