SIDC / RSOC Nurburgring Trip - Easter 2002
#1
Following on from the massive hit the event was this year and the fact that there is loads of interest from the people who came along in 2001 wanting to take their car's next year, who is organising this?
Go on Harj, you know you want to... Someone please do so, as I want to book my spot and there are several RSOC owners that want to do the same.
Stef, just imgagine all the "Cossie Kills" you will get for your next video!
Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers

Now this sounds very interesting.
Am tempted by the ring, and easter 2000 seems like a good time, as I might have some cash by then
Would this particualr trip be accesible to a track virgin?

You were right the first time
Rainman is stuck in the 70's
Count me in
Well, wouldn't be proper to miss it, would it?
Besides I promised Sabine to show her the quick way round the track

When's the Rally Catalunya? Still thinking about going on that, so hope it doesn't clash.
I might well pop across, though I might drive this time to avoid the scenic route through France, Holland, Holland, Holland (again), Germany (circular route), Germany and Germany.
I'll go anywhere that has bars that shut when the last person passes out.

LOL I've lost count of the amount of times Chris has relayed this story down the pub - it cracks me up every time
Think we're going at easter although we'd like to do Catalunya too

OK Chaps I will take the reins on this for the bookings as last Easter was a memorable one
Please drop me a line for the attendees and I will book the hotel.
I know there is always alot of interest on these trips but alot of people do drop out due to other commitments so book your time off work NOW!

Yep.... Im well up for it!
Bike 2 Track did us a good deal in November, perhaps we could use them again... Took the pain out of the organising it did
As Mike mentioned SIDC, I have also taken the liberty of posting on the forum.... Surprised there has not been an SIDC 'ring trip before!

Not trying to dampen things, but this Safety Leaflet has been put together by the very experienced guys on the Ringers (oo-er!) list after the number of accidents this year...

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone wanted a passenger for the trip??
I'm 19, at uni and a car (Scooby) nut. I've been to KH with members of this bbs and i had a fantastic time. I've seen the videos on the 'Ring and made it a kind of goal to see it for real.
I would be more than happy to pay half of everything (petrol/lap costs etc).
Hopefully someone will take me (pleeeeease )
Thanks lots in advance
Kos

Hi Kosy.
I managed to get a pax lift over when I went at Easter. Plenty of lift swapping when I went (oo-er!), so shouldn't be a problem though you might need to grab a train down south.
I'm hopefully going over, although a long way off, so I might have a pax seat available.
