yeah... I saw it twice already but it's not in theatres anymore here in Canada. My girlfriend really liked it also and she is not really into cars either (YET 
)
I have a downloaded copy of it on my PC so I often go in and take a quick peek but the quality isn't worth watching the whole thing on my PC.

Well said Phil! i used to train but havent done for three years, work and babys seem to get you off track. after watching film i thought come on Lee get your **** together. Hiya stefan, what a cool place to live, decent weather in the summer then the skiing in the winter!!! do you live near a resort? never been to canada skiing but will do one day ! Lee

Agree with u that Pitch Black is a good film - much better at the cinema than at home
The film was almost entirely identical to Point Break - another good film.
Have to say that the film was generally pants, but the cars made up for it - even though most of them were totally unbelievable -in fact were any real?? in the performance stakes - I doubt it!
Bit like Mad Max 2 and the nitrous - but we all know that was a fake car
The car at the end producing 900hp was fairly lame - I knwo a car that produces 980hp, but does not have the stuff sticking out of the bonnet - run on 116 ron fuel in the States
Would'nt mind a nice nitroused car like the ones on the film - but have'nt got the money, and more importantly the time to make this happen

I was watching F&F, picking holes in it (how long does that first 1/4 mile race take, how many gears do those cars have?), butI got to admit I really enjoyed it. I'll definately be getting it on DVD.
It made me wonder if the makers had ever seen a film called "Thunderbolt" (or Thunderblot on the Hong Kong import DVD). It's a Jackie Chan movie about illegal street racing in HK, with some good fighting action, lots of tuned up Jap motors, a totalled Countach - and hilarious consequences! Probably. Unfortunately it's subtitled but it doesn't really detract from the action.
There's also "The Hidden", a body snatching alien who likes to steal Ferraris - that has some excellent chases and the world's most modified Dino
.
If chase movies are your thing, and you can find them, check 'em out.

Hiya thorpem! i know what you mean! out on the lash all the time dont come cheap, an the quelity of the women can be a little suspect! JON 44 you should stop chucking money at em! treat em mean keep em keen. but i know what ya mean, chicks that are into cars normally have a downside too, best thing is to keep clear. why buy a book from the library when you can borrow one! chees lee
